“Will you get over it?” Christie growled as they walked threw the airport.

“I can’t.” Hwoarang sighed as they walked to their destination.

Christie rolled her eyes. “Hey I have accepted being married to you.”

“You’re not funny.” Hwoarang growled.

“Look you all have dug your graves so you will need to lay in them.” Xiaoyu spoke adding her two cents.

“Well, poppet, I would be glad to dig you a grave to lie in.” Steve smiled.

Julia stepped in front of everyone. “Look if we are going to pull this off then we have to pretend that none of us are married.”

“We’re not.” Jin spoke as he referred to him and Xiaoyu.

They all looked at the two of them.

“Anyway, like I was saying, if we pretend now that we are not married then well it should be easy to fake this routine in front of our parents.” Julia continued.

“Look I don’t care what kind of lies you all pull.” Xiaoyu started.

“Well here goes ‘I am so holy and perfect’.” Christie groaned.

“Hey I can’t help it if I prefer to stay out of trouble.” Xiaoyu told her bluntly. “Look here is my point and let me make it clear: You all had better get these things sorted out before my wedding cause I do not want things to turn into a funeral.”

“I agree.” Jin nodded. “It is bad enough that our families don’t get along but we do not need our friend’s families having a war too.”

“Look.” Hwoarang nodded as they walked to their seats on the plane. “Everything will be worked out. I mean we will show the counselor that we can’t be compatible and then that will be the end of that.”

Hwoarang sat down and closed his eyes for a moment. When he opened them he had the nagging feeling of being watched. Hesitantly he looked to his left to see a little kid staring at him. Brown hair in shaggy cut and the huge eyes of curiosity in the shade of green simply looking at the red haired Korean.

“Umm hi.” Hwoarang spoke utterly confused.

“Hi.” The kid spoke as he looked at Hwoarang. “I’m John.”

Hwoarang blinked a few times. “I’m Hwoarang.”

“Can I call you something simpler cause your name is funny.”

Silence. Hwoarang could not believe that this kid was bothering him. “Kid, where is your mother?”

“She’s back in America, I am on my way to visit my father in Japan. He works there and he is also part Japanese.”

‘And he gives me his family history.’ Hwoarang thought.

“What’s the matter mister, you look like you are troubled?” John asked looking up at him with his curious concern.

“Kid, hopefully, you will never understand what I am going threw.” Hwoarang sighed raking a hand threw his hair.

“Mister.” The kid told him placing a hand on his shoulder. “Would you like to talk about it over some hot coco?”

Hwoarang laughed a bit. “Sure, kid.”

So many hours later...

“It seems as though you are suffering from early symptoms of a mid life crisis.” John told Hwoarang as he scribbled in his coloring book. “You feel as though you need to live up to the main stream views of what college life really is also you have this fear of not having fun during these years of your life.”

“Hey Hwo, it’s time to get off the- what the heck is going on here?” Julia asked as she looked at the kid talking with Hwoarang. Hwoarang leaned back in the chair holding a teddy bear.

“Hello my name is John and I am his therapist.” John smiled as he looked at Julia.

Julia just stared in disbelief. “Sure, come on Hwo.” She spoke pulling him out the chair. “Look kid here is a five.” Julia spoke as she handed him the money. “Thanks for helping him or something like that.” Julia and Hwoarang left.

A stewardess walked over to John.

“Hey mom.” John smiled showing his mother the twenty.

“How many times do I have to tell you?” His mother sighed. “You really should start playing the orphan card if you really want to scam people out of their money.”

“Oh ok.” John smiled as he waited for the next flight to board.

“Guys!” Christie screamed as the three girls walked into the dorm room.

“You have not shut up since we have left the airport.” Xiaoyu commented as she sprawled herself out comfortably on the couch.

Christie looked at her in disbelief. “Can you blame me? I mean I am married to Hwo!”

“I feel your pain!” Julia chuckled trying her best to have a sense of humor about this.

“I mean I had sex with Hwo!” Christie groaned as she leaned her head on the kitchen counter that looked on into the living room.

Julia shrugged.

“Well you all should not have been drinking!” Xiaoyu told her.

“Look I know you have these reality issues but the fact of the matter is... we were and we did a lot! So deal with it.” Julia told her snapping at Xiaoyu.

“Do you not realize that this is something that you need to deal with not me!” Xiaoyu told her. “I am going to marry Jin, and we will have a very, very happy life together, you know why? Because we have great communication as well as we have sense.”

“You know the sad thing is she makes this very valid point.” Christie nodded.

“Christie?!” Julia exclaimed.

“What I mean she went to Vegas and did not get drunk and married!” Christie shrugged. “I think that the two of them have very strong wills.”

“Amen to that.” Julia spoke as she poured herself a glass of wine.

“See this right here.” Xiaoyu yelled as she walked over to Julia, taking the bottle out of her hand. “This is what I am talking about. This is what got you into trouble in the first place.”

“Well now I am home where I have two of my friends here to stop me in making my dumb ass mistakes.” Julia smiled.

Christie walked over to where they were and took the bottle from Xiaoyu with a smirk. “Make that one responsible friend.” Christie spoke as she drank out of the bottle.

“Christie!” Xiaoyu screeched.

“What?” Christie shrugged. “I am sick of doing the right thing. I am in college damn it! I want to get drunk and I wanna be a normal college student!”

“So you’d rather get drunk then do your work and finish college?”

“What the hell are you complaining about?” Julia yelled.

“I know!” Christie responded. “You’re marrying into Jin’s family... dude, he is rich that means you’ll be rich, together!”

“Man we don’t have it so easy!” Julia sighed.

“But don’t you want to restore you’re homeland and then backpack around the world?” Xiaoyu asked.

“Yea but still!”

“Hey.” Christie added. “I know that I am going to be some cabaret dancer.”

“So here is too us.” Julia spoke as they toasted each other. Julia raised her glass as Christie raised her bottle full of wine.

“Look I am not going to always be here to cover you alls asses.” Xiaoyu told them.

“Yes mother dearest.” Christie and Julia spoke in a unison tone.

“No I am serious I mean one day you all are not going to have me to make phone calls to see how you can get out of your drunken affairs.” Xiaoyu huffed as she folded her arms.

“You know for your information it was not a drunken ‘affair.” Christie started.

Julia then jumped in. “It was a drunken mistake!”

“Well, then I am not always going to be there to get you out of your drunken mistakes!” Xiaoyu yelled.

“And why prey tell is that?” Christie semi-snorted, and then laughed. “Isn’t that what friends are for? For the good, the bad-“

“The ugly!” Julia chuckled.

“Xiaoyu crossed her arms over in middle taking a deep. “I want to move out.”
