Tekken Jr.

A/N: I know. I know it’s been awhile but I am now just getting a chance to update. I mean there have been a lot of things going on! Would’ve updates last week and I couldn’t cause I found out that my eye eight in one eye was really bad so I waited for my new glasses and maybe that would help with my typing and it is.

Then I got sick a few weeks ago! I swear I have the world’s weakest immune system! I may want to do something about that but here I am!

So Sorry! Please forgive me!!

“What are we going to do?” Christie sighed as she sat on the bed. They had all finally pulled themselves together long enough to put some clothes on and reconvene.

“I don’t know, maybe file a divorce!” Hwoarang snapped as he looked over at Christie.

“Don’t yell at my girlfriend!” Steve growled.

“Hey don’t tell me what to do with my wife!” Hwoarang barked back.

“Ok here is a suggestion.” Xiaoyu spoke as she stepped between them. “We stop treating people like that are pieces of property!”

“She’s right.” Jin nodded. “The only way you all are going to make it out of things is if you calm down and talk things out like rational adults.”

“Alright.” Julia spoke. “We should file for divorce as soon as possible.”

“Ok, I’ll call the place you all were married and see what they say.” Xiaoyu sighed as she picked up one of the marriage certificates walking over to the phone, dialing the number.

Jin just looked at them all shaking his head. “I can’t believe you all, I am ashamed and very disappointed in all of you.”

“Great, we will get the lecture from him and then the one from our parents.” Christie complained as she held her head.

“No, I’m serious, what were you all thinking?” Jin asked them. “You know what by the looks of all these liquor cans and bottles you all weren’t.”

“You know how we used to rag in him and Xiao about how they would be the perfect parents and family?” Steve wondered as he looked at Hwoarang.

“Yup.” Hwoarang answered.

“Well he already has the ‘I am so disappointed in you’ speech down, I think that he is well on his way.” Steve spoke as Xiaoyu walked back over folding her arms.

“I have good news and bad news.” Xiaoyu told them as she put the certificate down on the table.

“I need some good news.” Julia sighed as she continued to smoke. Xiaoyu snatched the cigarette out of Julia’s mouth and stepped on it.

“That’s nasty.” Xiaoyu hissed. “You will not kill me with your second hand smoke!”

“Will you just get on with the news?” Julia demanded.

Xiaoyu narrowed her eyes as she put her hands on her hips. “You all can get a divorce.”

The crowed went wild.

“I am not finished yet.” Xiaoyu yelled trying to get there attention.

Christie’s face went from instant joy to instant terror. “What do you mean you are not finished yet?”

“See they will grant the divorce but there is a catch.” Xiaoyu informed them.

“I really don’t like the sound of this.” Jin groaned as he held his head.

“You all have to prove that there is ‘just and cause’ reason for the divorce.” Xiaoyu told them.

“Well that should be easy, we were drunk and we made a stupid mistake.” Hwoarang told her.

“No let me finish.” Xiaoyu interrupted him. “They said by signing the paper legally you all have to remain married for one year and both couples must go through marriage counseling to prove that the relationship is a real mistake.”

“You are shitting me, you better be shitting me.” Christie told her as she gasped. Xiaoyu’s face remained the same. “Ok so you are not shitting me!”

“Look if the counselor thinks that you all really don’t belong together then you all can be granted the divorce before the year’s time is up.” Xiaoyu finished.

“Well what in the bloody devil are we to do, I mean we are going back to the states in about a week!” Steve screamed.

Xiaoyu sighed. “Simple get in contact with a counselor there and have them send the reports back to Vegas so it can be granted or wait the one year.”

“You know either way we are screwed.” Hwoarang sighed. “My father is going to hit the roof, and then me!”

Jin opened his mouth. Christie stopped him. “Jin before you speak I would like you to think about something for a minute. I am pissed, screwed beyond reason and miserable. Do you really want to say something I mean think about it! Is it worth it? Is it really worth it? I want you to ask yourself that before you speak and then if you think that it is worth it then go right ahead say something but be warned, I will hit you!”

Jin stopped for a moment as he scratched his chin with thought. “You brought this on yourself.”

“You know I hate to say it but he’s right.” Steve sighed folding his arms.

“Well you guys look on the bright side.” Xiaoyu beamed as she stood up.

“Oh educate me oh wise one.” Julia sarcastically snorted.

“Well you could’ve married Christie and Hwo could’ve married Steve!” Xiaoyu told them. Jin shook his head as the rest of them shuddered at the thought.

“I know that I am going to kick myself for asking this but any more silver linings to this dark and deadly cloud.”

“Yup.” Xiaoyu nodded with an impish grin. “The Continental Breakfast Bar is still open!!
