"I swear if
you poke me one more time I'm going to bite you." Christie threatened. She and
Steve were sitting in a restaurant waiting for the rest of the crew. They were
celebrating their last night in high school, tomorrow they were
graduating.
Steve looked at her and smiled. "Oh aren't we kinky today?"
Steve teased as he smiled.
"You're not funny." Christie said trying to
look at him seriously but was failing. "Look don't poke me."
"And if I
do?" Steve asked as if to challenge.
"Haven't we been through this?"
Christie asked raising an eyebrow at him. "I am going to bite
you."
"Alright then." Steve sighed as he poked her once
more.
Christie growled at him. "Jackass."
"Oh I like it when you
talk dirty to me." Steve winked.
Christie chuckled. "You are
unbelievable."
"Well aren't you going to bite me?" Steve
pouted.
"Pervert." Christie muttered playfully at him.
"What can I
say, I try." Steve laughed.
"You've been hanging with Hwoarang too much."
Christie sighed shaking her head. "I swear you are starting to act like
him."
"Hey people." Julia said as she sat down with them and Hwoarang
soon followed behind her.
"Hey!" Steve and Christie said greeting them as
they fought over a soda. Though they fought they tried not to make it out as a
big deal.
"Only a few more hours until we are out of that rat trap high
school." Julia smiled as she let out a little squeal.
"And only a few
more months until we are away from the old ball and chains." Hwoarang chuckled
to himself.
"You that is a very scary thought." Steve pondered for a
moment. "I mean considering some of the people that we know, it is a horrifying
thought that they will be considered adults among society."
"I love the
way that sounds." Christie smiled to herself as Jin and Xiaoyu walked over to
the table.
"Have you two ever heard of the word punctual?" Julia asked
them with a hint of humor in her voice.
"Sorry but we do have lives
outside of you all." Xiaoyu smirked as she and Jin sat in the
booth.
"First I've heard of it." Hwoarang joked with them.
Xiaoyu
stuck her tongue out at him and folded her arms.
"Xiao, what the hell is
with the long sleeves?" Christie said as she looked at the long sleeved dark
green shirt her friend was wearing. "The sleeves are longer then your
arms."
Xiaoyu fidgeted. She was trying to hide her engagement ring. "Well
I'm cold."
"Your cold?" Steve asked curiously.
"Yea I am." Xiaoyu
nodded as she pulled her sleeves down further.
"So what has everyone been
up to?" Jin asked as he was trying to change the subject.
"Packing my
stuff for college." Steve smiled, as he leaned back resting his hands on the
back of his head.
Christie laughed. "Yea I gotta fill out all my stuff
for the dorm."
"I have to do that and I have my major to think about."
Hwoarang nodded.
"What are thinking about?" Jin asked. "I'm thinking
business."
"Medicine." Hwoarang answered as he sipped his
soda.
Julia snorted.
"What's so funny?" Hwoarang asked as he
looked at Julia.
"How do you expect to go into medicine if you don't
study?" Julia told him flat out.
"Well maybe I have finally found
something that has interested me enough to push myself." Hwoarang explained to
her.
"Well that means nothing if you are lazy." Julia snapped at
him.
"Julia, remember he did get all As in biology and anatomy." Xiaoyu
pointed out.
"This coming from a girl wearing long sleeves when it close
to summer." Julia snickered.
"Well at least I know what I want." Hwoarang
snapped at her. "At least I have my direction in life and I am going to stick
with it. I mean I know what I want and where I would like to be, what about
you?"
"Guys let's not start this." Xiaoyu sighed as she tried to keep her
friends from arguing with each other.
"No, he wants to start this again
let him!" Julia yelled, getting the attention of some of the other customers in
the restaurant.
"It's no use Xiao, they argue until one either goes death
or one walks away." Christie explained as she leaned on Steve.
"Round
one, fight." Steve teased as he rang a mock bell. Christie laughed.
"Look
I don't want to here this anymore." Hwoarang said as he got up from the table.
"It's been nice, I shall see you all tomorrow at graduation, later." Hwoarang
sighed as he walked out.
"See this is exactly what I keep telling you!"
Julia yelled as she stomped after him. "Don't you walk away from me while I'm
talking to you, or you're going to get it mister!"
"All I want is one
day, that's all one day without them fighting." Steve sighed as he shook his
head.
Well maybe that is how they communicate love to one another." Jin
concluded.
"Bull shit." Steve chuckled looking at him.
"I know but
it sounded good." Jin laughed along with Xiaoyu and Christie.
"I swear
everyone has been action funny lately." Christie commented as she played with
her straw.
"What do you mean?" Xiaoyu asked curious but confused at her
friend's statement.
"I mean Julia and Hwoarang argue every time they are
near each other." Christie started.
"Which is normal!" Steve said as he
jumped into the conversation.
Christie rolled her eyes and then continues
talking. "Then this fool over here has been acting a bit more loose as of late.
Then Jin being high strung. Now we have Xiaoyu who normally loves to were tank
tops switching over to insanely long sleeved shirts. Something is up!" Christie
commented as she gritted her teeth together.
Xiaoyu dropped her hand
immediately off the table and resting on the chair. She had no idea how long it
would be before people figured out her and Jin's
secret.

The reason
this is short is because I am tired and sick and also I want this chapter to
lead into the next one! The next one will be longer cause I'll on Christmas
