"I swear one day you are going to ruin that pretty little face." Kazuya sighed as he watched his son bang his head against the kitchen table in frustration.

"You know after a certain age boys should not be considered pretty and low and behold you don't call boys pretty." Jin mumbled as his face was smashed into the table.

"That's a stereotype and also gender roles." Kazuya spoke as he sat across from Jin. "What pissed in your cornflakes?"

"I really don't want to talk about this." Jin sighed as he got up from the table, but Kazuya pulled him back down to sit.

"Talk." Kazuya commanded.

"Look you probably aren't interested in the first place." Jin said trying to get off the subject.

"If I weren't interested then well I would not be asking you." Kazuya smirked as he caught Jin in a trap, so to speak.

"Fine, lately I've been thinking about my future and some of the things that it will include." Jin sighed as he started slowly.

Kazuya nodded to indicate for his son to continue.

"Well-see, I uh-well I- see what had happened was." Jin started as he was trying to think of the right way to get all of this out. "Aw screw it." Jin growled as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the satin box, placing it on the table for his father to see.

Kazuya thought about it for a minute, he had an idea of what the box was but he wanted to see it for himself. He picked the box up and opened it to show the pretty ring. Kazuya raised an eyebrow; he thought he knew what it was a small part of him was still a bit confused.

"I want to ask Xiaoyu to marry me." Jin spoke as Kazuya's eyes went wide. They both sat in silence for a minute.

"Believe me you have my blessing I am just at a lost for words." Kazuya chuckled as he ran a hand through his hair.

"So you're not going to give me the talk about how I am too young, and we should wait until we are like thirty or something?" Jin asked as he had one eye open staring at his father in shock but still waiting to be yelled at.

"No." Kazuya said shaking his head seriously. "From the moment you all came in contact with each other I kind of knew there was something special between the two of you. So I would have been more over shocked if you all were not going to be married."

"So your not mad?" Jin asked a little apprehensively.

"Of course not." Kazuya smiled. "I, unlike your mother have accepted the fact that well you are growing up."

"How do you think mom is going to take it?" Jin asked curiously.

"You know let's not even think about it." Kazuya chuckled. "Let's just concentrate on you getting the question out."

--------------------> Last Day of School

"No more bloody school!" Steve cheered as he threw the textbook over his head.

"That's right my English muffin." Christie chuckled as she kissed. Steve smiled but then it hit him.

"English muffin?" Steve questioned as one of his eyes was cocked open. "What the devil Chris?"

"Your pet name." Christie smiled as she dragged him over to where Julia was sitting.

"English muffin." Steve muttered as he walked with Christie. He had never heard that pet name before.

"Hey Jules, last day!" Christie cheered as she hugged her friend. "Finally we are getting out of this hell called high school."

"Yea and out into the real world." Julia spoke as Hwoarang walked over to them.

"And that for some of us is a more frightening." Steve smiled as Hwoarang shot him a death glare.

"Not funny." Hwoarang smirked. "But today is the first day of the rest of our lives."

"Who cares? This is our last day." Christie shouted as she ran up and down the halls. "Good bye, advance calculus! Later world literature! Burn in hell D my biology."

"Well someone is happy this is our last day." Hwoarang chuckled as he watched Christie do cartwheels.

"You have not the faintest idea. The sprite over there has been bouncing up and down all the way to school-something I never seen before." Steve chuckled at Christie.

"No I have been waiting so long! I want to go to college and then be a choreographer or travel in musicals!" Christie fantasized as her eyes glazed over.

"Looks like someone has been daydreaming." Xiaoyu snickered as she approached the group.

"No more calculus!" Christie screamed as she hugged Xiaoyu and they danced around.

"You know the irony is that we were all excited about going to high school but now it seems like we are even more excited that we are leaving." Jin chuckled as he approached the group.

"I am living on campus! I am so excited." Hwoarang smiled. "Finally away from my dad, not that I don't love him."

"I know think we are happy about this new found independence." Julia smiled as they all continued to talk.

"Hey can I talk to you for a second?" Jin asked as he pulled Xiaoyu's hand.

"Sure." Xiaoyu smiled. They walked around to the side of the school.

"Xiaoyu, you know I love you." Jin started as he wrapped his arms around her drawing her closer.

"I know, I love you too." Xiaoyu smiled as she gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

"I can't picture my life without you." Jin kept going as he was slowly preparing himself to go one knee. "And I don't want to."

"Jin-" Xiaoyu started as Jin held her hands. She was emotionally touched by his profession of love.

Just as he opened his mouth and his knees were giving way to drop.

"Kazama, Jin." Heihachi spoke as he walked to them. "I must speak with you, now."

Jin sighed, interrupted again. "I'll see you later." Jin said putting a smile on even though inside he was pissed as hell. Xiaoyu gave him a quick kiss before he left.
