"Julia you really
need to stop torturing yourself." Xiaoyu sighed as she took the empty pint
container away from her sulking friend. "This is girls evening out,
tradition!"
"You know this is what we go through, tradition Xiao,
tradition." Christie snickered. "Cause she does this every week, cause every
week her and Hwo are going through some issue, so she is keeping with
tradition."
"See that is just proof of how I need to end things with
him." Julia sighed as she ate more ice cream sitting on Christie's
bed.
"No this is proof that all you all do is nit pick!" Christie
corrected her sulking friend.
"Why don't we talk about positive things,
like how graduation is in a few says!" Xiaoyu smiled happily.
"Great and
by then I have to make a choice!" Julia wailed as she hit her head on Christies
headboard.
"That's gonna leave a mark." Christie commented about Julia's
head colliding with the head board.
"On the headboard or on her head?"
Xiaoyu asked as Christie cursed her friend for making her laugh out
loud.
"I think both." Julia muttered as she rubbed her head with a pout
of pain on her face.
"Look you need to calm down. Think be happy. If you
are going to leave Japan then you might as well make a few more happy memories!"
Christie said as she tried to snap her friend out of her state of
depression.
"You're right, I am only going to cry and think about this
while I am not around anyone else.' Julia nodded as she dried her
eyes.
"I swear what I say goes in one ear and out the other!" Christie
sighed as she smacked her hand against her forehead.
"Well at least you
got it out!" Xiaoyu chirped as she sucked on an ice-pop.
"Xiao, shut up."
Christie groaned playfully.
"Shutting." Xiaoyu giggled as she ceased her
talking.
Meanwhile at Steve's house----->
"Five more bloody
days!" Steve said as they all hung out in the kitchen.
"Till what? She
leaves me." Hwoarang bitterly told them.
"Another hour of this, eh?" Jin
sighed as he got another root beer out of the refrigerator.
"No, I was
thinking out loud again." Hwoarang admitted. Then an odd silence dawned upon
them. "Has anyone given any thought to the future?"
"Where the hell did
that come from?" Steve asked as he chuckled. "I mean that was pretty
random."
"Well I was just wondering." Hwoarang shrugged.
"Well I
wanna be a business man." Steve smiled as he leaned back in his chair. "No kids
maybe some pets but no kids."
"What's wrong with kids?" Hwoarang asked
laughing a little bit.
"They are loud and well I don't see myself as a
father." Steve shrugged. "I couldn't be responsible for another life like that,
especially if I want to be a business man , it'll be very time
consuming."
"I want to be a father." Hwoarang smiled. "I need someone to
take after me!"
"Lord forbid that." Jin chuckled.
"Hey you have no
room to talk!" Hwoarang growled. "You know you want a family."
"I know."
Jin shrugged. "And I want to get married too."
"Marriage?" Steve shook
his head. "I don't need a piece of paper to tell me who I love and who my soul
belongs to."
"Would you rather have a dog leash?" Hwoarang snickered.
Steve glared at his friend.
"No, I feel that I would have to be with
someone for about twenty to twenty- five years to marry them." Steve told
them.
"I'd have to be sure and that I want to be with this person for the
rest of my life." Hwoarang nodded. "And that they had felt the same
way."
They both turned to Jin. He was yet to give his opinion on the
subject. He just looked at the can in front of him silently trying to go
unnoticed. Finally after a few minutes of feeling his friends' eyes on him he
looked up to the faces of puzzlement and amusement. "Yes?" Jin asked slowly as
he looked at them.
"Well?" Steve asked.
"I want to get married to
Xiaoyu, eventually." Jin said confidently and with a smile on his
face.
"I swear you all are like magnets." Hwoarang chuckled. "You just
can't be separated from each other because your attraction is so
strong."
"No more metaphors." Steve spoke trying to hold back his
laughter. "Ever."
"See you like that, don't you!" Hwoarang smiled nodding
his head.
"No I really don't." Steve said as he shook his
head.
"Hwo, stick to what you know man, what you know?" Jin snickered as
he laughed at his friend's antics.
The next
day------------>
"Hey." Julia smiled as she let Hwoarang into the
house. They moved into the living room area and sat next to each other. "What's
up?"
"What's up?" Hwoarang asked her, not believing that she could be so
nonchalant. "Ok let me get this straight. A few days ago you tell me that there
is a possibility of you walking out of my life not to return and now you act as
if nothing is going on. Julia, what the fuck?"
"I don't understand why
you are flipping out." Julia whined as she help her head in her
hands.
"Well I don't want us to get all close and then you up and leave
me, I think that may be the freakin' reason!" Hwoarang snapped back at
her.
"Whatever." Julia sighed as she held her hands up in defeat. "You
need to learn to relax."
"And you need to learn to make up your mind and
string me on like this." Hwoarang fired back.
The sting of his words left
an eerie silence between them. Julia sighed in frustration as she stormed out of
the living room.
Meanwhile--------->
"Don't you dare." Steve
growled playfully as he grabbed Christie around her waist and pulled her closer
to him. The phone was ringing and Christie was reaching to answer it. "Ignore
it, love."
"It's kind of hard when it is right next to us." Christie
snickered as she gently kissed his lips. "What if it's Julia?"
"Then she
can call back later." Steve sighed as he kissed her neck
feverishly.
"What if she is having a relationship problem? Christie
whispered as she was trying not to give into Steve's tender kisses. She closed
her eyes then let out a slight moan at his actions.
"Trust me." Steve
stopped as turned to face her right in the eyes. "The problem will still be
there in another three hours." Steve chuckled as he and Christie
laughed.
After all the saddest thing about that was he was right, the
problem was still going to be there alive and kicking in a few
hours.
Elsewhere--------->
"Oh Jin this is so nice." Xiaoyu
squealed as the two of them sat in a meadow having a nice picnic lunch together.
"Thank you so much."
"No problem." Jin smiled. The afternoon had gone
perfectly. He had taken her to the zoo and then surprised her with a picnic in a
meadow saturated with wild flowers, over looking a pond. It had took him awhile
to think of this but it was worth it in the end. He knew this would be the right
moment to propose to her. "Xiao?"
"Yea." Xiaoyu asked as she looked at
him with her chocolate eyes that were looking at pink wild flower that she
played with.
"We've known each other all our lives; we've been dating for
almost seven years, and from the very first day I laid eyes on you I was in love
and I still am only more so now. Xiao, I love you so much that I know I can't
goon without you." Jin stopped as he played with the satin box locked in his
fist and in his pocket. "Xiaoyu what I am trying to say is -" Jin started as the
annoying shrill of a cell phone went off.
He sighed and released his grip
on the ring. He answered it; it was Julia looking for Xiaoyu. Looks like Jin
will have to wait before he can pop the question to Xiaoyu.
'I swear
Julia couldn't have worse timing." Jin thought as he shook his head. 'Back to
the drawing board.' The proposal would have to wait another
day.
