"Daddy,
why did mommy move back to the United States without us?" Forest asked as his
father tucked him into the bed.
'Because your mother is a dirty,
cheating, nasty little whore, trying to divorce daddy and taking all his money.'
Law thought, but he knew that, that was not the thing to say to a
toddler.
"Sometimes things don't work out between mommy's and daddy's and
they decide that it would be better if they don't talk to each other anymore."
Law explained.
"So are things with me and mommy still working out or does
she not like me too?" Forest asked as he looked up at his father with wide
eyes.
"Of course we love you no matter what; the thing is that we don't
like each other. No matter what Forest you will still see your mother and me;
just in separate places.
"Ok I can deal with that." Forest nodded as he
settled into his bed.
"Night son." Law said kissing his son on the
forehead.
"Night father." Forest smiled as he closed his eyes for
sleep.

"I
swear he gets it from his mother's side of the family." Law sighed as he watched
his son literally and energetically run circles around him. Forest was only 5
years old but hyper as ever. "Forest you have to relax and discipline
yourself."
"I wanna fight." Forest cheered as he still skipped around his
father.
"You will once you learn the basics." Law said trying to tell his
son that he had to take it one step at a time.
"Look daddy." Forest cried
as he went charging at a squirrel climbing up a tree. He snarled and hissed as
he ran for the squirrel but in the end instead of tackling the squirrel he got a
face full of tree.
"Why did I not see that coming? I swear I set myself
up for this everytime. I told her I wanted a girl so she would take after me but
no, I get a son! I love the kid but jeez." Law sighed as he was peeling his
son's face off the tree.
Later that day---------->>
"Forest
you have to sit still." Law said as he tried to calm his screaming son down, he
need to get stitches from his accident.
"She's going to sow me up like a
rag doll! That can't be healthy." Forest said shaking his head as the doctor
came closer to him holding the needle and the thread.
"Sweetie when you
hit your head you got a really deep cut, it has to be sown up. It's not even
going to hurt." The doctor said pleading with Forest who was literally climbing
up his father's head.
"Have you ever gotten stitches before?" Forest
asked looking to the doctor for some reassurance that the procedure was going to
be painless.
"No." The doctor responded.
"Then how would you
know?" Forest yelled.
"Well you wouldn't have to find out whether they
hurt or not if you would've left the damn squirrel alone." Law muttered but all
in the room could still hear him. The doctor and Forest chose to ignore what Law
was saying.
"Give me your hand." The doctor said as she reached one hand
out to him and with the other she placed the needle and the thread back unto the
little tray.
"Alright." Forest sighed, as he stepped over to her and
taking her hand. Before Forest could think the doctor quickly stuck him with a
sedative knocking him out immediately.
"I'm sorry but there was no other
way that I could see to calm him down." The doctor told Law as she placed Forest
on the examining table.
"I have one request." Law told her.
"Yes."
She responded as she turned to face him.
"Can I have about a gallon of
that stuff to go?" Law chuckled. The doctor
laughed.

"Forest what
the hell are you doing?" Law asked as he walked into the kitchen where his son
was busily dashing back from the pantry to the stove cooking.
"Making
dinner." Forest replied as he stirred the contents in one of the
pots.
"Aren't you supposed to be studying?" Law asked as he leaned in the
doorway.
"I am. I am taking home economics and well this is one of my
assignments. I have to cook dinner and have the people in my house write a
review about what I made." Forest explained as he opened the spice
cabinet.
"I thought you were playing football so you wouldn't have to
take gym next year?" Law questioned. Now he was confused.
"Oh I quit."
Forest talked as he set the table. "Since I am in economics I can help repair
uniforms and also clean them. That can earn my other gym credit so I won't have
to take gym."
"Economics?" Law questioned. Sure he was a liberated man.
He didn't mind if the woman paid for the date, or that men painted their nails
as long as it wasn't his son. Then it didn't matter, if it was then he had a
problem.
"Alright dinner is served." Forest said as he sat his father
down and sitting a plate of food in front of him. Forest had fixed some pasta
for his father. "Go ahead and taste it."
Law hesitantly lifted the fork
with the pasta on it to his mouth and gave it a taste. It was good; better then
good. Law knew one thing; from now on his son was cooking all the
meals.

"So Forest tell me what the
trouble is?" The counselor said as he talked to Forest.
"My dad thinks
I'm gay." Forest sighed as he paced around the room.
"Well are you?" He
asked looking at the teenage pacing around back and forth.
"No, I mean I
pretend to be around him and all of my friends but that doesn't make me gay."
Forest sighed.
"Well if you act gay and look gay then that must make
people think that you are indeed gay." He said trying to show Forest the logic
behind the way his father and friends must be thinking. "Why would you act that
way?"
"Because my father wants me to take over the dojo and that's not
what I want to do." Forest admitted. "I mean ever since my mom left he has been
trying to train me to take over the business, granted I love martial arts but I
don't want it to be a career of mine. Maybe a hobby but not a career. I want to
be on Broadway!"
"Are you sure you are not gay?" The counselor sighed.
Forest narrowed his eyes. "I'll take that as an undecided."
"Whatever."
Forest growled as he walked out of the
office.

"I love college life." Forest smiled as he drank his topical drink
sitting at the beach. He was finally free of his father and his alter
ego.
