"Did
I ever tell you how much I hate you?" Hwoarang asked as he walked with Jin to
school. Heihachi had taken over Jin's school and just given them all the new
policies- including uniforms.
"Look it can't be that bad." Jin said as
they walked to the school courtyard to see Christie and Steve.
"Hey guys
don't you love these uniforms?" Christie giggled.
"And the sad thing
about that is she is actually being sincere about liking the uniforms." Steve
said as he shook his head.
"Hey this makes things easier on my life cause
now I don't have to pick out what I have to where every morning. And the fact
that I can now show these chicks up cause I look better in the same outfit."
Christie laughed as Julia and Xiaoyu came walking over to them. "Julia, you
dork!"
"What?" Julia asked as she walked over to them. Christie was
referring to Julia's skirt all the way to her knees and the short shirt that was
tucked in. Julia had her glasses on and her hair in two french
braids.
"For goodness sake, even Xiaoyu has her skirt shorter then you."
Christie sighed.
"What? I want to look professional!" Julia said as she
walked in front of them. "Sides I have quit cheerleading and have decided that I
want to be president of the math and the science club."
"And here comes
teenage phase number 2." Xiaoyu sighed. "Well I am staying on
cheerleading."
"Alright you guys we better head to class before we are
all in trouble." Steve said as they began to walk toward the school. "Wait is
our class schedule still the same."
"Yea it's just that now we are
allowed to eat outside now." Jin said as they walked into the school.
2nd
period
"How Hwo its second period and you don't have a detention."
Xiaoyu said as she took her seat next to him in History.
"I will not get
detention for the rest of this week, after that I don't really give a crap!"
Hwoarang snickered.
"I give you a few days." Steve teased.
"Awww I
know you can do it Hwo." Julia said kissing his cheek.
"If I do then I
can get my permit!" Hwoarang said positively. "So that is my inspiration right
there, oh and there is that other fact that I can rub it in all of you alls
faces about the fact that I can be good."
"See there is always one detail
that everyone forgets." Steve sighed with a chuckle. "Everyone can be good but
the real question is are you good at it?"
"You and your damn philosophy."
Hwoarang grumbled.
"Well in the weirdest way he kind of makes sense." Jin
shrugged.
"You know I always thought that I saying was everyone can sing
but the question is can they sing well?" Xiaoyu said thoughtfully. They all
looked at her. "Like you've never heard that before."
"Alright students,
take your seats!" The teacher said as he walked into the room. "Time for a pop
quiz!"
"You your parents tell you to look toward the future and not to
dwell on the past right?" Christie said to no one in particular.
"Yea."
They all said as they took out pens.
"Then why the hell do we have
history class!!!" Christie growled as she passed the quizzes back in her
row.
"Finally I can get cookies!" Xiaoyu said as she ran to locker after
her math class. It was now lunch time.
"I swear your blood sugar must be
through the roof." Julia sighed as she watched her friend take the stack of
cookies and chocolate milk out of her locker, then they walked to there table in
the cafeteria. "Why don't you eat something healthy, maybe that would help to
improve your focus in school?"
"Then forever call be stupid!" Xiaoyu said
happily as she sat at the table. Lunch went ton with there normal rants and
raves.
"You know I have that urge to do something bad." Hwoarang said
with a crooked smile.
"Whoa! Down boy!" Julia said petting his
head.
"Remember Hwo, think about your permit." Christie reminded as she
ate her salad.
"Yea it's saying 'Don't leave me Hwo!'" Xiaoyu mocked in a
high pitched voice as she made her fingers flutter as if to signal the permit
floating away from him. Jin smiled at her humor.
"You don't need another
piece of sugar, ever." Hwoarang said taking her last cookie and eating it right
in her face.
"That's alright I'm going to get a candy bar and you can't
have any." Xiaoyu said as she got up from the table and walked to the
back.
"I'm going to go get a straw." Jin said as he walked to the back.
"Hey Xiao!"
"Yea," Xiaoyu said as she turned from her position at the
vending machine.
'Now or never Kazama.' He thought as he took a deep
breath. "I was wondering, would you like to go out with me sometime?" Jin asked
a bit nervous.
"Sure." Xiaoyu said trying not to fall back at the
shock.
After school
"Dad she can't do that can she?" Jin asked
looking to his father for some answers.
"Well, come on it's the boy's
first date he does not want to spend it with his family at dinner." Kazuya said
trying to reason with his wife.
"They can go out for ice cream after, I
just think that Jin should bring Xiaoyu here for dinner so she can meet the
entire family!" Jun said as they walked through the large living
room.
"You don't want to scare the poor girl away." Kazuya said shaking
his head. "You can save that for when they are married." Jin just sighed at his
father's
words.
