"Alright
children!" Miss Lola called to all the children who had just arrived. A few were
a little teary-eyed at the fact their parent(s) were leaving them for the after
noon. "Would you like to hear a story?" All the little heads nodded at her, they
just looked so sad. "Ok." The daycare attendant gathered the children into a
circle and pulled out a book.
"Ok, this is called 'Goldie Locks and the
three bears.'" She said opening the book. "Once upon a time-"
"When was
that?" Julia asked, tilting her head.
"Once upon a time." She said
answering her. Wait, when was once upon a time anyway.
"Yea we know that
but when?" Julia questioned her again.
"Many years ago." The sitter said
this time giving her a clearer answer. "Ok there was a girl names Goldie Locks
decided to take a walk in the woods."
"Where was her mother?" Forest
asked. "My daddy said you're not suppose to do anything like that without an
adult."
"Goldie Locks was older then you all." The sitter responded. She
just couldn't catch a break. "Anyway, while she was on her walk she stumble upon
a small cottage, so she decided to go in."
"Wait isn't that against the
law to enter someone's house wit out permission?" Hwoarang asked, cutting the
teacher off again.
"Yea, how'd you know that?" Miss Lola asked
him.
"I had a little run in with the law." Hwoarang told her, nodding his
head.
"Sure, anyway Goldie Locks went inside to find three bowls of
oatmeal sitting on the table. The first one was too hot, so she moved on the
second bowl, that was too cold, but the third bowl was just right." She
continued on with her story.
"Why didn't she just blow on her spoon to
cool it, if it was too hot?" Jin suggested.
"Or she could've but the cold
stop in the microwaves." Xiaoyu said looking up at her.
"Why was she
eating food she ain't know who cooked it?" Steve wondered.
"Uh." Miss
Lola said trying to buy her some time. "Who wants a snack?" She said trying to
change the subject. She was sure to make a mental note not to tell them any more
stories. She quickly passed out the cookies and juice.
"Oops." Hwoarang
said knocking into Jin on purpose, making him drop his cookie. "How clumsy of
you?" Hwoarang said with that arrogant grin. Jin looked down at his cookie as
his eyes began to water.
"Here." Jin looked next to him to see a small
girl in pigtails hand him a half of her cookie.
"Thanks." Jin said taking
it from her.
"No problems." Xiaoyu said happily as she sat with him and
ate.
"Can I have a dollar?" Forest asked, pleading with Miss Lola for the
last few minutes.
"No." She said putting out he art
supplies.
"Why?" Forest asked folding his arms.
"If you can spell
it, you can have it." Miss Lola said making an agreement with him. She knew he
wouldn't know how to spell it, that's why she made that deal with him. "Alright
kids, time for arts and crafts." She positioned them at the table for finger
painting.
"That's a very pretty picture." Miss Lola said looking at
Julia's picture.
"It's for my Mommy since she wikes buffalo." Julia told
her. "She's fascinated by them." She said using her word her mother had taught
her. Miss Lola nodded and walked on. She looked over at Hwoarang who was
actually being good; he was painting like he was supposed to. She knew she had
to watch from the warning hose got from his father about how bad he was
sometimes.
"Steve what are you painting?" Miss Lola said hovering over
him.
"Boxing gloves." Steve said happily as he painted his hands. Miss
Lola sighed and took him to the back of the small daycare room to clean his tiny
hands off. That's where she made her mistake-she left Hwoarang alone. Hwoarang
grinned to himself as he looked around to see what he could get into. He
carefully moved his hands over to one of Xiaoyu's pigtails. He steadily lifted
up a small container of paint and dipped it in there, covering her hair with
blue paint. Xiaoyu hadn't noticed at the moment, until laughter had gotten the
best of Hwoarang. Xiaoyu turned her head to look at him and her pigtail slung
her in the face, the paint getting at over her face as well as being in her
hair. Xiaoyu began to cry.
"You meanie!" Jin yelled at Hwoarang. "You
made her cry!"
"Shut up!" Hwoarang yelled back, everyone
gasped.
"Ohh you said a bad word." Julia pointed out,
shocked.
"Bite me!" Hwoarang said to her, before he turned his attention
back to Jin. "Listen you little poop head, it's none of your bidness what I do."
Jin walked up and began to hit Hwoarang, and two were roiling on the ground
having it out with each other; trading blow for blow.
"Hey!" Miss Lola
said pulling the boys apart. You both know better then that!" Miss Lola said
pulling them apart, and then sending hem to different corners of the room. After
she cleaned Xiaoyu's hair she got the story and went to talk to
Jin.
"Tank you." Xiaoyu said hugging Jin after he got of time out. Then
she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Much to Miss Lola's delight it was time for
them all to leave but then again she would just have to see them
tomorrow.
"So Jin, did you have fun?" Jun asked once they got in the car
and were on the way to the hotel.
"Yea, I have girlfriend." Jin said his
face turning red. Kazuya chuckled at his son.
"Really?" Kazuya
chuckled.
"Yup." Jin said, Jun laughed at her
son.
