"I hate you more then I hate this outfit." Xiaoyu growled as she stood in front of the gym doors. Xiaoyu and Julia had on the outfits they had to wear for the tryouts for the cheerleading squad. They had to wear a tank top and the type of skirts cheerleaders had to wear.

"Then that must be a lot of hate at the moment, cause I know how much you hate to degrade yourself by wearing these outfits." Julia sighed as they waited in the semi long line for their turn to come so they could audition for the squad.

"I'm not even going to ask." Xiaoyu said as she shook her head. "Cause if I do then I swear then I'll get an answer."

"Xiao, what are you talking about?" Julia asked as she looked at her friend in confusion.

"Look at your best friend over there." Xiaoyu said nudging Julia. Julia looked at Forest in the same outfit as them. "Why is he in a skirt?"

"He has nice legs." Julia nodded. "I'm jealous."

"That's not the point the point is, well look at him." Xiaoyu sighed.

"And you're not used to it by now?" Julia asked looking at her shocked.

"I don't think that anyone is." Xiaoyu said as she looked at Forest. "And why am I doing this now? I mean this is degrading, I know I come off as a happy ditz but I am not that naïve."

"Because you want to impress Jin." Julia said nudging her. "I mean you all have been playing this game of cat and mouse for God only knows how long and now it has to stop because it is starting to annoy me, and everyone else. I think it's to that sad point where even Jin's parents think that you two have something going on."

"I have two words for you Julia." Xiaoyu said as she tried to pull the mini skirt down. "Bite me."

"Nope I will leave that for Jin to do." Julia teased, well maybe she really wasn't teasing.

"I hate you so much." Xiaoyu said as they walked into the gym.

At lunch that day

"Are you both still on the war path?" Hwoarang asked as he looked at Xiaoyu and Julia.

"Yes we are." Xiaoyu said as she continued to eat her sandwich.

"Aww come on I saw the cheerleading tryouts." Steve said as he sat down. "It wasn't that bad."

"For goodness sakes, I had to do cartwheels in what they would like to call a skirt." Xiaoyu growled looking at her food.

"Look Xiaoyu we are going to make the squad I mean they post the results this afternoon." Julia said striving for a lighter tone.

"Well if I get on the squad I guess I have sold my soul to the preps!" Xiaoyu said dramatically.

"Too bad, Jin I guess your dad is out of luck." Julia said trying to lighten the mood but to no avail.

"Well we start driving today." Hwoarang said referring to him and Jin. Everyone looked at them and laughed.

"No seriously we do." Jin said snickering a little bit. They looked at him funny.

"I thought that you already were learning to drive?" Xiaoyu said looking at Jin.

"Well yea but my father is going to take me out to drive, so I can get some more practice before I go and take the test so that I could get my license." Jin explained.

"And what's your excuse?" Christie asked looking at Hwoarang.

"Well my father said that I couldn't get my learners until I pull my geometry grade up, which may be awhile so until I do- I shall be teaching myself to drive like always by taking my father's car and going for a little drive every now and then." Hwoarang shrugged.

"Oh he's actually a good driver." Julia said shocking the hell out of everyone. "No seriously he actually he is."

"For your sake I will pray that your father will never find out that you have been taking his car and going out for joy rides." Christie said looking at him with a little bit of humor in her voice.

"Well he hasn't found out yet." Hwoarang smirked and he never will cause I have never crashed his car and also I look old enough to pass for someone of age so it really doesn't matter now does it?" Hwoarang laughed. "Plus my dad has to work late tonight so now I can take the car and joy ride as much as I want, so that way I can have the car for me and Julia's date tonight. And in case you all are wondering my father has two cars but he normally doesn't get in from work until about 3 in the morning."

"I hate to say this but as wrong as your deed is, it is actually well thought out." Xiaoyu said nodding her head.

"Well my father is taking me driving next week." Steve said. "But until then I am happy with taking the bus to get to where I need to be.

"Well why don't you just take one of your parent's cars when they leave and then joy ride?" Hwoarang asked curiously. "I mean you are suppose to be the smartest out of all of us."

"My mother used to be a paid assassin." Steve said seriously. "I think that, that is enough said right there."

"I get his point loud and clear." Christie said. "Doesn't your mom work as one of those people who put people to death as there penalty?"

"Yea and I fear her either way." Steve said seriously.

Later "Alright give it a little bit more gas." Kazuya instructed as his son drove the car.

"I know." Jin said as he focused on the road ahead of them. As Jin drove there was a silence in the car.

"So, how is school?" Kazuya asked nodding his head. He had hardly ever made any conversation with his son so he figured that he had better start. Well not really, Jun had been fussing at him to get more connected with his son.

"You have never asked me that before." Jin said looking at his father as if he had grown a second head.

"But I want to know, I mean you have been a bit depressed lately." Kazuya said stuttering over his words. He was new to this caring thing.

"School is boring." Jin said as he turned into the driveway, and parked the car. "Ok I have a problem."

"Well you wanna talk about it?" Kazuya asked. He was never that close to his father but he wanted things with Jin to be different.

"Well I have a friend and he really likes this girl, and everyone thinks that she likes him to but he doesn't think that she does like him. But now he wonders if he should ask her out that then there will no regrets later, so what should my friend do?" Jin asked curiously.

"Ask her out so that way there will be no questions later." Kazuya said. "I mean if I hadn't asked your mother out then we wouldn't have you now." Kazuya said. He was surprised that he could be so understanding and compassionate. Maybe it was the old age thing setting in.

"Thanks." Jin said as he got out of the car.

"Oh and Jin." Kazuya called before his son got out of the car.

"Yea." Jin said.

"Just ask Xiaoyu out." Kazuya said as he got out of the car.

That night

"Hello." Xiaoyu said picking up the phone that sat on her desk in her room.

"Xiao, we made the squad!" Julia cheered.

"I know." Xiaoyu said in a calm manner. "Wait a second aren't you suppose to be on a date with Hwoarang?"

"He must be running late." Julia said looking at the clock. "Ok about three hours late."

"That's odd." Xiaoyu said thoughtfully.

"Oh hold up that's my other line." Julia said as she clicked over. "Hello."

"Jules it's Hwoarang." Hwoarang said out of breath.

"Hwo where are you?" Julia asked a bit upset and also with a hint of worry.

"Jules I've been arrested, get me out of here! Do you have any idea what they do to pretty boys in jail? Well I don't and I do not want to find out." Hwoarang said before he was forced to hang the phone up by the officer.
