Nightmare Reality
A/N: I do not own Tekken! Oh and I know this is a
little weird and this first chapter may suck but I promise ya it gets
better.
Disclaimer: Guess what? I still don't own
Tekken.
Prologue
"Xiaoyu." Jin whispered as he sat up, and
frantically looked around the room. It started happening again, the nightmares.
They kept the normal schedule of haunting his mind and draining his tortured
features. He took in a deep breath to calm himself as he wiped the sweat away
from his forehead, when he felt it; something sticky and warm tainting his
hands. Jin slowly brought his hand down so he could take a good look at it. The
substance had shown plainly in the orb shinning brightly through his window.
Blood, fresh blood. "No." Jin said shaking his head. Warm tears trickled down
his face. He really killed her this time, it wasn't a dream, and the proof was
still there. "Xiaoyu." He whimpered, as he began to tremble. He curled himself
up into a ball and sobbed. He had killed the one person he promised to never
hurt, the one person who had never broken a promise to him, and the person he's
secretly given his heart to. He felt a gentle hand rubs his back, and he jerked
away. He looked up through the tears to see Xiaoyu looking down at him in her
pink flannel pajamas.
"Jin what's the matter?" Xiaoyu asked
softly.
"I'm sorry." Jin cried. "I'd never hurt you."
"I know."
Xiaoyu whispered sitting next to him. "It's ok."
"No it's not, I'm sorry
I hurt you." Jin said looking down at his blood- covered hands.
"What are
you looking at?" Xiaoyu asked extremely worried.
"The blood, it's
everywhere." Jin said with a shaky voice.
"There's nothing there." Xiaoyu
said holding his hands. She had no idea what he was talking about, there was no
blood, at least she couldn't see it. "Jin, I'm ok."
"I-I didn't mean it."
Jin said looking into her brown eyes.
"Jin you didn't do anything."
Xiaoyu said holding his face in her hands. "It's ok now. Everything is gonna be
alright." Xiaoyu said hugging him.
Chapter 1
Jin stared into the
mirror as he straightened himself out. He continued to prepare himself for the
party he heard the pitter-patter of feet running through the halls of carpet. He
quickly turns and looks out the door and sees nothing. Slowly he inches toward
the door, as he walks his feet step on something to make a cracking sound. His
hazel eyes wondered to the floor and to the trail of feathers. His eyes and feet
followed the trail of feathers down the hall and into a small room. His eyes
traveled up to see Xiaoyu, staring at a mirror with her back facing him. She had
on a long white dress and a pair of angel wings. The feathers stopped right
where she was. Slowly turning around she faced him with an emotionless look on
her pale face, her fairly long hair brushing against her
shoulders.
"Xiaoyu." Jin said stepping closer to her. As soon as his foot
touched the ground a hands reached out from the mirror, grabbing her. One hooked
around her neck, two around the arms, and the forth around her waist. The rough,
scared and burned arms tightly took hold of her pulling her closer to the glass
prison.
"Jin, help me!" Xiaoyu screamed as she reached out to him. Too
late though, she was gone. He almost had her. Jin leaped toward the mirror,
pressing his hands against it looking for a way in to get her. His eyes locked
with a pair of red devilish eyes staring right at him in the mirror. He locked
eyes with his father who seemed to be behind him, his reflection revealing him
to Jin in the mirror. Jin not bothered to turn around though he only stared at
his father through the mirror. Kazuya only chuckled at him.
"Hey." Xiaoyu
said putting a hand on his shoulder. Jin hurriedly turned around to see Xiaoyu,
not Kazuya. She was there in her white dress and angel wings smiling at
him.
"Hey." Jin said slowly, he wasn't sure what was going on. He
could've sworn he saw Xiaoyu be taken into the mirror and his father standing
behind him, taunting him.
"What do you think of my costume?" Xiaoyu asked
twirling around.
"You look beautiful." Jin smiled at her trying to forget
what had just happened.
"Thanks, come on or we'll be late for the costume
ball." Xiaoyu said grabbing his hand.
"I'll be down in a second, you go
ahead." Jin told her. Jin knew she was growing suspicious of his actions lately,
so he flashed her the most genuine smile he could muster.
"Ok, hurry
down." Xiaoyu smiled, as she walked down stairs to the party that was going
on.
As soon as he knew Xiaoyu was out of sight he focused his attention
back to the mirror. With his feet leading the way, he walked over toward the
mirror. For a second he just stared at it, until he saw her image again, Xiaoyu.
He saw her faint image staring back at him in the mirror, reaching out to him.
Jin raised his hand as well, also trying to reach her but she vanished right in
front of him.
'I don't understand.' Jin said shaking his head as he
walked out of the room. 'I saw Xiaoyu go down stairs, she is not in the mirror.'
Jin looked down below, he saw Xiaoyu talking happily with some of the other
fighters in the party. He only wished he knew why these visions seemed to plague
him, or if they were harsh doings of reality. 'Visions or Reality', which is
it?

Okie this
is some weird idea, but I like it so this one stays! I finally found something
solid. I know it is a little confusing but as I go along things will get clear.
