Chapter
1: Sweet Confusion of a Dream
"Surprise." He whispers as he drew her
closer to him under the pale moonlight. She opens her eyes and smiles fondly at
him as he guides her over to the small candlelit table out unto the patio.
Showing his gentlemen behavior, he pulls out her chair. He sits across from her
and studies her features. Dark brown hair that touched her tan shoulders, and
light brown- bluish eyes. Her eyes wonder over to meet his deep blue eyes and
they lock there gaze. She feels the rush of crimson creep upon her face like the
blush of autumn with the leaves.
After they ate, they rose to dance to
the music that was led by the symphony of their hearts, playing the music only
they could hear. They twirled and spun in each other's arms letting emotion
guide their steps. After their dance had ended she rested over the rail of the
balcony, looking down at the seemingly sleepy city. He creeps behind her and
wraps his arms around her waist, kissing her bare shoulder, then moves in to
capture her lips in a kiss tasting of passion.
"What the?" Molly grumbled
as she rose in her bed. She sat up and looked around the ecru colored room. She
checked around her looking to the corner of the room seeing her luggage and her
gym bag right where she left them. Running a careless hand through her short
hair she took a deep breath in and then out trying to calm her racing mind and
heart. Her eyes scanned over the clock that taunted her with glowing green
digits of time. It was 1:32 in the morning and her mind was playing cat and
mouse with her. "I swear I will never eat ice cream again before I sleep, damn
Victoria."
That afternoon
"Hello! Molly! Molly!" Victoria yelled
waving her hand in front of her friend's face.
"What the hell do you
want?" Molly asked pushing Victoria's hand out of her face.
"I want to
know why for the last oh few hours you've been spacing out on me." Victoria said
laughing. "To put it into terms you can understand whose the guy?"
"Don't
you have a boyfriend?" Molly asked stifling a laugh.
"Yea but that
doesn't mean I can't gossip with you." Victoria said scooting closer to Molly.
They were sitting on the coach bus as they were riding to the next city for a
RAW is WAR show. "So who is Miss Molly day dreaming about?"
"Vicky?"
Molly whispered.
"Yea." Victoria answered.
"What if last night I
dreamed about a certain guy and well I kind of think that through this dream
world that I well, kind of am falling for him but this is in my dreams." Molly
said softly.
"It all depends on who this 'certain guy' is." Victoria said
looking at Molly with a raised eye brow.
"I just don't know." Chris said
leaning back into the seat closing his eyes.
"For the last time if I
don't know what the hell is bothering you then how am I suppose to help you deal
with your issues." Christian said looking at his friend.
"It's not
important I can figure this thing out on my own." Chris aid folding his arms and
sat for a second in what looked to be deep thought.
"Ok Mr. I am the King
of the World." Christian mocked as he looked back down at his magazine. A few
moments of silence passed between the two.
"Ok I need your help." Chris
said looked with pleading eyes to Christian.
"I knew that you would come
crawling back." Christian laughed to himself.
"Ok enough bragging." Chris
said sighing. "Alright, what do dreams mean?"
"Pardon?" Christian asked
looking at him oddly.
"I mean what does it mean if you dream about
someone?" Chris asked curiously. "I mean in a very romantic way. It's like
someone you never thought about like that."
"Why Chris I'm touched you
think of me this way but I don't swing like that." Christian said in the most
sarcastic way possible.
"I'm not laughing and I am serious about this."
Chris said raking a hand though his blonde hair. "I mean I know this girl but we
don't see eye to eye, well we don't really talk at all."
"Were you drunk
last night?" Christian asked eying him suspiciously.
"No, I when I was
dreaming last night I felt like I was actually holding her and kissing her, hell
I even liked it." Chris said as his eyes caught a glimpse of that dazed and
dreamy gloss plastered over his blue orbs.
"Wait who were you dreaming
about?" Christian asked looking at him. He forgot to ask about that the whole
time that Chris was spacing out.
"You're shitting me; tell me that you're
shitting me." Victoria said looking at her friend with some disgust yet
intrigue.
"I shit you not, I wish I was but I am not." Molly said almost
sadly.
"I just never thought that you had a crush on Chris Jericho of all
people." Victoria said still a bit taken back at what her friend had just
confided in her.
"No, No. I will never eeevvvvveeerrr have a crush on
Chris Jericho." Molly said shaking her head.
"Well you already are
starting to sound like him." Victoria snickered.
"Well this is your
entire fault in the first place." Molly pouted. "If you hadn't suggested that we
pigged out on ice cream then I wouldn't have nightmares like
that."
"Look, when we get to the next city we shall get a book on dreams,
kay?" Victoria asked looking at her friend.
"Whatever." Molly shrugged.
"Hopefully this will help to solve this little nightmare problem.
"You
and Molly?" Christian asked blinking a few times. Chris nodded. "Are we talking
about the same Molly here?"
"Yea we are, I just don't know why I am
having these dreams." Chris said as he got up. They were at a pit stop, so now
they had a chance to stretch there legs.
"Maybe you are just screwed up."
Christian snickered as they walked down the bus aisle. Chris kept walking until
he walked right into Molly, the water bottle she had in hand went tumbling to
the ground.
"I got it." Molly and Chris said at the same time as there
hands reached for the water bottle. Both their hands met on top of the plastic
bottle. As soon as their hands touched there was a quick vision of them kissing
that ran through their minds.
"Sorry." Chris mumbled as he hurried off
the bus, leaving Molly standing there with a confused expression on her
face.
'I definitely need that dream book.' She thought as she walked off
the bus, the bottle lay
forgotten.
