Mysterious 15

"There was nothing we could do, we lost one." The
doctor said lowering his head.
"Umm, doctor there was only one." Jeff
said looking confused but afraid, an emotion he rarely showed.
"Is there
any family I can speak with?" The doctor asked seriously.
"No, she
doesn't have a family." Rey said gritting those words through his teeth. He was
about ready to kill Ric and Hunter for the shit they pulled on Amber.
"I
don't know how to say this but-" The doctor started with a heavy sigh. This part
of the job was never easy. "Amber was pregnant. The sad thing the match itself
had nothing to do the aborting of the pregnancy. We noted that when she hit the
ladder her arms tuck the impact not her back. The problem was the blood loss.
The sledge hammer shots were to blame, she's anemic, there just wasn't enough
blood." Rey just sat there. In one second HHH had made his life a living hell.
It would be Rey's turn soon enough.
"Is Amber alright?" Jeff asked
softly.
"She's fine, it's just a little bothering that she hasn't woken
up yet. But she will." The doctor sighed. "This leaves you all with a choice,
you can either tell her about the baby or not. Remember in the first place she
never knew, she doesn't have to know. It's up to you all." The doctor said
walking out of the lobby. "And my apologies but you may not see her since
visiting hours are over."
"Rey, Rey." Jeff said shaking him.
"What
am I gonna do?" Rey asked looking at Jeff. "I can't lie to Amber, but I can't
hurt her like that." Rey sighed as soon as he put his head down their came the
unmistakable voice of Ric Flair. Rey looked up to see him at the front desk; he
was probably here with Hunter. Without thought Rey sprang up ready to attack but
Jeff held tight to him.
"What the hell is your issue?" Ric asked
outraged.
"What's my issue?" Rey yelled laughing sarcastically. "Let's
see. I have basically lost apart of me."
"Why should it concern me?" Ric
asked hatefully.
"Because it was also apart of you. Your daughter is in
there and she's hurting, because of you." Rey spat.
"You don't even know
my daughter." Ric said with a confident look on his face. Rey began laughing
again in that sarcastically evil way.
"You still don't know do you?" Rey
questioned. "It amazes me how many people honestly idolize your sorry ass when I
know how low you really are. You don't remember all those years ago when you
cheated on your wife with a Mexican-Korean woman?" Rey asked as he began to
circle him. "Then she had a little girl, you remember. You let David toss her
around a ring when she barely knew English." Ric looked shocked that Rey knew
his past. "You remember Amber now. You must be a dumb ass if you can't recognize
that hair, that's how she got that middle name."
"Look she's no concern
of mine." Ric said trying to free himself from some of the guilt.
"Ok, so
it's no concern that you just lost a grandchild because of HHH, it's no concern
that her mother is dead, it's no concern that she's hurting, and I'm sure it's
no concern that she's ill." Rey said moving closer to him, giving him the most
abhorrent stare.
"I didn't know." Ric said in his defense. It took
everything in Rey not to hit Ric.
"You know that you're the one who's
losing not her." Rey said with a small smile. "You missed out on raising one
hell of strong woman. And she turned out perfect without you, so I guess you
weren't needed in her life anyway." Rey said rearing his fist back and punching
him in the face. Before she settled back into the waiting room, he was staying
over night so he wouldn't be far away is Amber's condition
changed.

Well,
I know that wasn't one of my best chapter's but it's almost 2 in the morning and
I have work I have to do tomorrow so instead of making you all wait a long time
for the next chapter, I stayed up and wrote it lol!
