Heart Stopper 6

A/N: You guys are the best! Thank YOU!

Disclaimer: I own nothing! I made Roxy up.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall introducing first being accompanied to the ring by Roxy Rob Van Dam." Lillian announced standing in the ring. Rob and Roxy hopped into the ring a waited for Rob's opponent. "And his opponent being accompanied by Paul Heyman he is the next big thing, Brock Lesnar." The match was under way as soon as Brock got into the ring and Roxy stepped out. All through the match Roxy was sure to cheer both men on. She was careful never to say either of their names, just shouting words of encouragement. The match ended with Brock as the winner, and was now time for Paul to put his plan into action. Paul grabbed Roxy by the hair and flung her into the steel steps. With Rob down and almost out Roxy was left fending for herself. She tried to fight back against Paul but he weight was too much for her. Hearing Roxy's cry, Brock turned around to see Paul attacking his friend. He got out the ring and moved Paul aside. There was a shocked hush cast over the arena when Brock gently picked Roxy up and carried her to the back, not even JR or the King had any comments.

Brick carried her to his locker room and set her down on the couch. On the way to the back Roxy had regained consciousness.

"Roxy, are you ok?" Brock asked looking at her with concern.

"Yes." Roxy nodded with her pigtails bouncing with her.

"Roxy I don't think we should hang out anymore." Brock sighed.

"Why?" Roxy asked visibly hurt.

"Because you being near me seems to be a problem. When your cousin finds out he's going to be mad, and Paul seems to be taking matters into his own hands. I don't want you hurt." Brock said seriously.

"I can take care of myself. I'm not hurt." Roxy said pouting.

"I think you should go." Brock said turning his back on her. He could tell she was holding back her tears.

"I thought we were friends." Roxy said beginning to cry.

"That's why I'm doing this." Brock said still not being able to face her.

"Look me in the eyes and tell me that." Roxy yelled while she still cried. "Cause you can't! Everyone thinks they know what's the best for me but you all have no idea. I am a grown woman and I can do what I want."

"I'm dangerous don't you understand that." Brock semi-yelled. "I don't want you ending up hurt fooling around with me. They are right what they say about me, I'm a monster."

"I don't care what they think." Roxy said shouting as she wiped her eyes. "I care about you, and I thought you cared about me." Roxy didn't even give him a chance to respond. She ran out of his dressing room and raced down the halls. She knew the other superstars were looking at her wondering what was going on. She kept going until she ran right into Tommy.

"Hey, Hey." Tommy said catching her in mid stride. "What's with the tears?"

"He-he-he." Roxy said hiccuping while she cried. She couldn't get her words together, so she broke down once again. Tommy had no idea what to do, so he wrapped his arms around her, and guided her down the hall to Trish's dressing room.

"What happened to her?" Trish asked running over to Roxy. Trish was in her locker room watching her monitor.

"I don't know. I saw her running down the hall in tears, I didn't know what to do so I brought her to you." Tommy shrugged.

"Go get Rob." Trish said to Tommy. He nodded and walked out the room.

"Roxy what happened?" Trish asked hugging her smaller friend. Roxy said nothing she just cried. Even after Rob got there she still didn't say anything. She sucked it up and told everyone she was fine, but one the inside she was falling apart.

"Is she still laying in there?" Trish asked walking into the hotel room. It was the morning after Roxy's break down.

"Yea she's talking to her father right now. I thought maybe that would help." Rob sighed. "I have never seen her crack like that. In fact I've never seen her cry before. You know what happened?"

"No." Trish said honestly.

"Rob, my father wants to talk with you." Roxy said poking her head out the door. Rob walked to the back of the hotel room to get the other phone. Roxy was about to hang her phone up when she heard them mention her mother. She listened intently until she absently dropped the phone is horror.

"Roxy what's the matter?" Trish asked looking at her friend's horror stricken face. Rob walked back into the room confused at the picture before him.

"Why did you just say my mother was dead?" Roxy asked confused and hurt. "She's away at work you know that."

"Roxy, I think you should know the truth." Rob started. "Your mom is dead."

"No she works for the government so she has to travel." Roxy shouted.

"You don't remember her cause she died when you were 5." Rob sighed. He really didn't want to break it to Roxy like this.

"I would think I'd remember going to the funeral." Roxy said getting angry and turning her back on him.

"Listen to me alright." Rob said turning her to face him. "When you were five years old you, your mother and your father were driving home one night. A truck hit you guys. Your father was thrown from the car, he landed in a ditch. All he had were minor bruises and cuts but you and your mother weren't so lucky. You both were pinned inside the car and had been for hours. During those hours your father called and we came to be with him while they were trying to get you and your mom out the car. I remember your mother screaming for them to get you out of the car first. She said you had stopped breathing. So she lifted you from out the back seat and passed you to the paramedics. They just couldn't get her out in time; she died in the car. You were in a coma for months, and when you woke up you had amnesia. You still can't remember everything. That's why we worry when you hit your head. This is why you can't remember most of your childhood."

"No she's alive my daddy would never lie to me." Roxy said walking back and forth with emotionless eyes. "Even if she was dead why would there me no pictures of her?"

"Your father burned every trace of your mother's existence away. He told us never to mention her again. All the letters you've received were written by your father, the gifts too." Rob sighed.

"It's not true, she's going to come home someday. She'll only be gone for a little while." Roxy screamed as she cried.

"Listen calm down." Rob said trying to comfort her.

"You all are liars, You say you care when you really don't give a shit about anyone but yourself." Roxy yelled as warm tears ran down her face. "You got to know your mother, you know what she looks like, and her name. I know nothing about her, you all couldn't even told me about her? Maybe even show me a picture of her, but you had to lie. I should be able to trust my family if nobody else and I can't." Roxy yelled before running into her room.

"You unimaginable bastard." Trish sneered walking into Roxy's room. "Roxy sweetie."

"I know I'm acting like a baby." Roxy said softly as she hugged her stuffed animal. "But everyone who says they care about me, lies to me. First Brock tells me he doesn't want to be my friend because of Paul, and now I find out my family has betrayed me. To top it off I am responsible for my mother's death."

"One I know Brock thinks he was looking out for your best interest, so did your family. And it wasn't your fault your mother was dead. She loved you enough to put you ahead of her." Trish said trying to help her.

"But don't I even remember her. What kind of gratitude is that?" Roxy said bitterly. "No offense but can you please leave me alone for awhile so I can think?"

"Sure, I'll be back tomorrow." Trish said walking out of her room and shutting the door. "You should feel bad." Trish said to Rob before walking out the hotel room. She walked down stairs and burst through the gym doors of the hotel and stormed right over to Brock.

"Yes." Brock said looking down at her.

"Now I have a reason to chew you out." Trish said angrily. "You push away the one person who cares about you! How much of a dumb ass can you be? She is up there crying over you, and to add to her pain she finds out her family has been lying to her. She loves you, and I know for damn sure that you love her. You have to understand that not everyone thinks you're a monster. If you have any common sense you'll tell her how you feel before you loose her." Trish said before walking out. "Why do all men have to be idiots when it comes to love?"
