"Hello."
Roxy said answering the phone sitting by her bedside.
"Hey Roxy is Brock
in?" Stephanie asked on the other end.
"Oh no, he stepped out. What's
up?" Roxy asked.
"Nothing much, how are you?" Stephanie
asked.
"I'm good what'd you want to talk to Brock about?" Roxy asked
curiously.
"I wanted to talk to him about his contract with Paul, I found
a way out it." Stephanie said happily.
"Why would Brock want a way out
it?" Roxy asked. She knew that Brock and Paul were enemies but were things
really that bad.
"Roxy after what he did! He almost cost you your life,
I'm surprised Brock hasn't killed Paul already!" Stephanie said confused and
shocked.
"Pardon?" Roxy asked confused.
"Rox, you and Brock didn't
know." Stephanie sighed. "Paul was the one who gave Taker the tip to attack you.
Taker had no idea that you were pregnant, it was all Paul behind
that."
"Steph I'll call you back." Roxy said slowly hanging the phone up.
'What the hell am I going to do? I should tell Brock, I could tell him, but
would that be the smart thing to do?' Roxy thought as she began to cry a
little.
"Roxy what's the matter?" Brock said walking into the room. Roxy
shook her head. She couldn't tell him that Paul was the reason for her
complications. It would be too hard of a thing for her to face, and for Brock.
They had been under enough emotional stress anyway.
"I'm fine." Roxy said
trying to get herself together.
"No something is wrong." Brock said
lifting her chin to meet his eyes. Roxy tried to find something else in the room
to focus on but she couldn't escape his eyes. The same eyes she fallen in love
with and were faithfully devoted to.
"You're going to get upset." Roxy
said softly, affectionately touching his cheek. "You're going to do something
that you'll regret later, and I don't want you to."
"Please talk to me."
Brock sighed.
"Stephanie called." Roxy started. "She knew why the
Undertaker attacked me. She thought we had known but since we didn't she didn't
bother to tell us. Paul gave Taker hints that I was the way to you. Taker didn't
know I was pregnant at the time." Brock just froze at her words, hitting him
like punch in the face. His blood began to boil with the bittersweet smell of
revenge, revenge against Paul.
