Last Desire 13
A/N: I am going to kick myself for this
later!
Disclaimer: I don't own the wrestlers, so don't sue
me.
"How?" Brock grumbled.
"Cause I am Roxy, now wake the hell
up." Roxy said slamming her pillow in his face. Brock looked up and looked
around, they were in his apartment. He was only dreaming. "You were shouting and
growling in your sleep. I love you dearly but this is one of the nights the
twins aren't kicking while I sleep, so what the hell is bothering you?" Roxy
yawned.
"You're alive?" Brock said looking at her.
"Last time I
checked I was." Roxy said looking at him confused. Brock looked into her eyes
and reached up and hugged her, while he let a few tears slip out of his eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I dreamed that I lost you and the twins. I can't
lose you, or them. I need all three of you." Brock admitted not letting go of
her.
"I wish I could promise you that I'll always be here." Roxy started
with a sigh. "But I can't. Sweetheart it's not up to me. If it was I'd always be
here, and I would guarantee that we could all be a family and maybe we will.
We'll just have to wait and see."
"I need you to promise me." Brock said
softly but determined to get that answer out of her.
"Brock, I understand
what my mom did now. She loved me so much that she put me ahead of her own life,
now I have to do that for our children. I've lived just about a full life,
they've never seen you." Roxy explained bringing his face to make eye contact
with her.
"They need you just about as much as I need you. You still have
so much you need to do." Brock said trying to lift her spirit.
"I've
excepted that I may die in a few months, you need to, too." Roxy said
sullenly.
"I can't except that and I won't." Brock said shaking his head.
"You shouldn't either."
"We'll go get a second opinion, will that make
you feel better?" Roxy asked lying back down on her pillow.
"Yea it
would." Brock said giving a sad smile before drifting off back to
sleep.
(A/N: Oh like you guys didn't see that coming! Damn, I hate being
nice but the story couldn't end that early.)
"Hi babies." Roxy smirked
waving at the monitor. They were doing an ultra sound.
"Would you like to
know the sex of them?" The nurse asked politely.
"Sure." Roxy said
eagerly.
"You all have a boy and a girl." The nurse said looking around
some more.
"Awww how sweet." Roxy cooed looking at the monitor, while
Brock laughed at her. "Don't laugh at me."
"I wasn't laughing at you, I
was laughing with you." Brock smirked.
"Whatever." Roxy said getting up
off the table, as the other doctor came in to talk to them about other options.
All eyes went to the doctor.
"I've looked everything over and there is a
way Roxy may be able to live through this. We can schedule her to have a
C-section. That may be a little less dangerous and then it would give Roxy a 50
percent chance of living. And the twins would more then likely be ok." The
doctor said giving them the good news.
"So if all this works out I may be
ok?" Roxy asked hopefully.
"Yea when you're a little over 8 months we'll
schedule you in for the C- section. But this is not going to be easy. For the
next few months you have to take it extremely easy." The doctor said
continuing.
"Meaning?" Roxy said trailing off.
"Your basically on
bed rest for the next few months meaning gain more weight, no exercise, in other
words no strenuous activity what so ever." The doctor said firmly.
"You
might as well submit her into a hospital." Brock said, not realizing that he
said what he was thinking out loud. Roxy narrower her eyes at him.
"Sorry."
"Don't even think it." Roxy said snapping at him.
"This
is going to be a long few months." Brock sighed.
"I heard that." Roxy
growled.
