What do you think is the most used operating system for Internet servers? If you answered winbloze, you're wrong. It's Apache. Now, having said that, why does Monopoly$oft continue its assault against every other company in existence? Because Bill Gates wants the world. There are few apps I actually run that are M$ based, aside from my Win98. In fact, here is a list of improvements I've made by removing the M$ original:
Clipboard ---> Clipmate 5.1
Internet Explorer ---> Netscape Communicator
MSN Messenger ---> ICQ
Sound Recorder ---> AudioMagic
WinMedia Player ---> DivX/Quicktime/Realplayer/Winamp
Its not too much, but its a start to a Monopoly$oft free PC. About the only thing I wouldn't do to get rid of all my Winbloze apps is go iMac. My 486 desktop custom will be UNIX based soon, and computer bliss will be mine. My experience with computers has taught me something: If Microsoft did it, don't do it, or you might be taken for a fool.
