Do you have to deal with stupid networking policies? I do, and it makes me POed. I need certain functions to do work, and they've blocked most of them. The following is every problem I've encountered with our school's networking policy:
No right clicking
No downloads
Cannot change resolution or color settings
Limited internet access
Bandwidth limitations
Can't install programs to the hard drive or any shared folders
These policies keep me from doing my work, and keep other people from doing their work. What makes it stupid beyond all belief is, there are block filters on internet access, so we can't access anything that has certain words in them. For example, say I needed some information, and I had to fill out a form that includes a gender tab, but instead of labeling it "gender" they label it "sex". That page will not be accessable because it includes the word sex. Now, all I want is to have a few simple settings changed so I can work easier and make my life a little less stupid. Why won't they let me have that?
