The Age Now: The World of Post Apocalypse
The world, in a sense, is still earth, except for two major differences: Technology is gone, and most of the land mass has moved and reformed. This allows me to customize the areas to my preference and shape the world while still maintaining its sense of balance. The oceans are closed in by land a little more and the English Channel is wider. Why do I mention these two points, you ask? Well, most of the story takes place in what used to be Great Britain. Now, its all one nation, unifying Scotland, Ireland, and England to one nation. The story starts out in Dekar-nessen, which is somewhere in the Maritimes. Belcourt is where you would see the southeastern coast of Ireland. It spans most of that area and the outskirts almost touch the center of Irish territory, though most people in Belcourt are Nymphs, a good chunk of the population is Irish and British. only a small number are elven (about 5%), and most of them are military.
The west, Which is the Americas, fell economically, and has little to offer in its worldly trading, except its large forestry, but with the abolishment of technology, it is hard to transport in quantity, making it a small commodity for the people to have. Asia has taken over as the main power economically, thanks to its arms research, and its higher elven population, elven katanas are the main power of most military factions, including Belcourt and the armies of the west. This and their combined overall mass, the new asia, which also eliminated its borders to become one nation. Despite their size and economic power, they actually have an insufficiently sized military, but its trining and well honed skills more than make up for it.
What's Happening: Blood and Tears Main Story line
As the first story begins, you see Galaan meeting with an old man, whom you quickly find out a little more about. The story kind of follows him and his allies to different events, until finally, the "opener" happens and they find themselves going after a legendary crown, which happens to show the four heroes their destiny, as thats its job. Each possessing skills and abilities used with expertise and finesse that only heroes could, they must battle one of the most powerful adversaries ever. While searching for the other two heroes, they must find a way to defeat their unrivaled adversary from controlling eternity.
What's Happened: The History of the New World
As man grew both in population and in overwhelming intelligence, the world's leaders decided that the only true way to keep the human race from committing complete genocide was to abolish technology that used fossil fuels and electricity to work. What was left was simple and pure. Over a period of fifty years, all nuclear arms were disabled, electronics were done away with, and cars and vehicles were melted down to make a seemingly endless supply of steel. The last time technology was used was a single rocket. It was launched into space and was full of compacted trash, which despite the weight of it all, still went to the heavens. Humanity once again regained its sense of pride. People were given jobs and poverty was on the decline in most areas. Soon, as the world settled down, the western continent fell economically, because it had no way to trade with other countries except by its fleet of carriers. As this happened, the Americas became one nation, calling itself "Americana". Other countries saw much sense in this, and followed suit. The United Kingdom became one nation, and Spain and France united. The world took a turn, though, when Asia became a unified nation. As this era of change came to a close, the Three Immortal Powers waged war on each other. Elven fighters stormed main points of defense and quickly became dominate in the northwest, while at the same time, Nymphs began to rise from the Middle East. While these races grew, human population shrank significantly. Battle waged all over the world for two hundred years. Many lives were lost and it was not until the Nymphs saw a solution, that the fighting stopped. Terra sent her best assassins to kill Iahova and Lucifer. Her plan would easily succeed, and the world would fall under the rule of the eight spirits, which were created from the now dead Three Immortals. But, as our story begins, the last of Lucifer and Iahova's forces are gathered into rebel factions, under people claiming to be the two reincarnated.
The First Immortals
The first three Gods were Iahova Lucifer and Terra. Iahova, of Good and Order, was the one whom many worshipped. Lucifer, of Evil and Chaos, was feared by all, and constantly caused the suffering of many. Terra, of Nature and the Elements, controlled weather, and made Earth, Wind, Fire and Water possible to co-exist. Together, they made the world we live in. As they grew old, somewhere about one hundred years from now, they decided it was best that one would rule over all creatures. Making powerful and charismatic sephira (creatures which Gods manifest themselves into), they drew followers from the massive population. Iahova chose to be an elf, and he made a small following of elves to breed more with. Lucifer, chose human, since he would have numerical advantage. Terra chose Nymph, and also made other Nymphs to follow her and breed with. For two hundred years, these three factions fought, until the Nymphs slain both lucifer and Iahova. Seeing that the natural order of things would have all three races, she, killed herself. In the afterlife of the Gods, the three made eight spirits to watch over Terra (which is what Earth was renamed upon her victory), and nurture its people.
