Alright. How many people have seen a Geocities or Tripod site masked by one of those NameZero frames? I've seen too many to count. I can't stand them. The frame takes up system resources, half of the time people already have frames on their site, so there are three frames running at once, plus it makes pop-up ads. Now, having said all that, what do people get out of this? A domain name of their own without a free server name attached. But, in my opinion, its just not worth it. You have more crap to work around and it gets at people when pop-up ads start pulling up twelve thousand at a time. If I see this crap happen even more than it already is, I'm gonna kill someone. Like, what the hell? Here's the way I see this working:
1. Guy signs up with NameZero's services.
2. People get pissed off and send hate mail to guy who owns the otherwise useful and entertaining site.
3. Guy decides to get rid of the service.
4. Everyone is happy.
5. Namezero's frames stay on the page because guy's a dumbass.
6. Free server gets pissed off.
7. NameZero goes IPO and sells the worthless stocks for millions.
Who loses this battle? Everyone except NameZero. I demand justice, or a cheap alternative.
