The Skippy Zone!'s newest policy is to prvide good web content that can be viewed on a low pentium, or 486 machine without any slow-down. This means that The Skippy Zone! will never have any background music, flash or java. This is due to my belief that everyone deserves to see high quality content on the web. If you want to be recognized as "modem friendly", please e-mail me, and I will do a "30 second test", which follows this procedure:
The URL is checked on a 28.8 Kbps modem. If the page loads in under thirty seconds, it qualifies as modem friendly. A 28.8 is used because there are still some 28.8 and even 14.4 Kbps users out there (like me). This makes for an even test.
