The King

He passes judgement upon everything
All living and dead like a god
His words are harsh and cruel
Take not his words to heart
He is a liar
A liar without shame or suffering
He thinks of himself as holy
Yet he sees himself as nothing
In time, he will accept himself
But he is still a greedy child
A heartless fool
Given no gift of word
Only speech
No pain he endures is too great
To show himself strong in the face of others
Yet inside
The King suffers
Because he is no king
He has no power or glory
Not a hero
Not a savior
Only an erratic fool
Who loathes his own name
Such a pity
The king who is not royalty
