Character Classes

This section covers the six classes of Final Fantasy, including a guide to their final equipment, which gives them their best attack and defense possible. A couple notes about the equipment guide, however, the Masmune is NOT included because who you give that to is your choice and it works well with any class. The other thing is that their are only TWO Opal Bracelets, so if you have three mage types, then only two of them will get Opal Bracelets.

Fighter/Knight: This guy is tough. Able to equip every armor in the game, and nearly all the weapons, he is a force nothing can knock down. He is also able to do massive amounts of damage with little requirement to do so. As a knight, he can equip more gear, and he can use some white magic.

Black Belt/Master: Beyond unique, this guy has some major differences from the other five classes. First, if he has no weapon in hand, his DAMAGE rating is twice his level, and his ABSORB matches his level, so long as he has no armors equipped. To add to all of this, after about level 9, he has the ability to fight very effectively without his nunchucks, doing 3 or 4 hits per round. As a Master, well, uh... he looks cooler... yeah.

Shield: None

Thief/Ninja: The thief has a fair advantage in combat with his excellent agility, and he can easily lead the party to safety in times of danger. As the Ninja, he gains Magical knowledge, and he can equip almost anything. He can also use the fabled Katana, which is a royally sweet weapon.
Final Equipment:
Weapon: Katana
Body: Flame Armor
Head: Heal Helm
Arms: ProRing
Shield: Ice Shld

Red Mage/Red Wizard: The red mage is a balance character. Able to equip power weapons and use the brunt of both classes of magic, and having no small or overly huge stats, he is a star player. He is as tough as nails and can hold his own in any situation.
Final Equipment:
Weapon: Defense
Body: Opal Bracelet
Head: Ribbon
Arms: ProRing
Shield: ProCape

White Mage/White Wizard: She poses as a walking heal potion, clinic and when undead attack, a destroyer, the white mage is, well, kinda useless. She can't hit anything with that clumsy hammer of hers, Heal potions suffice for her healing ability, and well, she's usually the dead one.
Final Equipment:
Weapon: Thor's Hammer
Body: Opal Bracelet
Head: Ribbon
Arms: ProRing
Shield: None (carry the White Shirt in the open space)

Black Mage/Back Wizard: Raw destruction and fury. That is what the black mage is for. Able to kill a horde of tough enemies with a few words, the black mage is the most destructive and powerful class. Given that, he is also much more useful than a white mage. Able to use the ultmiate black magic, NUKE, he is a true power-monger.

Weapon: Catclaw
Body: Opal Bracelet
Head: Ribbon
Arms: ProRing
Shield: None (carry the Black Sirt in the open space)
