Boss Characters

Garland
Hit Points:
Weakness: None
Tactic: Have any fighters attack him, while black mages cast FIRE or LIT. Red mages should also fight and have white mages use FOG on low defense characters, namely thieves, black belts, black mages, and white mages.

Pirates (x9)
Hit points: 6
Weakness: None
Tactic: Slug away! Have black mages use FIRE or LIT, while everyone else pounds away on them. I noted they have high evade, but keep each person targeting a separate pirate. If someone misses, who cares, they should only do a max of 7 or 8 damage to a mage.

Astos
Hit Points: 168
Weakness: MUTE
Tactic: Make sure you have the FAST spell when you fight Astos. Use it on any fighters. Next up, have either a red mage or white mage use the MUTE spell. As the battle begins to heat up (2nd or 3rd round), Astos uses the RUB spell. This will automatically kill one of your players, unless your MUTE spell worked. Since there is no chance for you to have a ProRing or the ARUB spell, all you can really do is pray it doesn't work. He should be dead quickly though, hes just a little mite.

Lich
Hit Points: 400
Weakness: Fire
Tactic: Use FAST on fighter-types and keep casting FIR3 on him. Have your White Mages cast FOG2 and INV2. He can be a real pain if hes alive for more than a few rounds. One very important detail: There is a small chance that he will use NUKE on you. This is guaranteed to kill you, so pray it doesn't happen.

Kary
Hit Points: 600
Weakness: Ice
Tactic: Use FAST on any fighters, this is a critical point towards victory. Once thats done, attack with ICE2 and slug away with fighters. Use curatives when necessary. No surprise attacks, but Kary will attack doing 3 or 4 hits at a time.

Eye
Hit Points:
Weakness: None
Tactic: Huh-huh... Only one way to get this fight done with quick. Kill it before it kills you. It can cast XXXX, which will most likely kill a party member. Have fun children...

Kraken
Hit Points: 800
Weakness: Lit
Tactic: FOG2 and INV2 are imminent. Without them, you're dead. Try SLOW, but I'm not sure if it works or not. Worth a shot though, because he will attack for 6 to 8 hits at a time, even on the most evasive of characters (ie. Black Belt/Master). He can easily finish off a Knight in Full Opal armor (ABSORB 74). Use LIT3 on him and don't let up at all.

Tiamat
Hit Points: 1000
Weakness: Bane
Tactic: This should be obvious. Use the Bane Sword as an Item, and in case it doesn't work, use ALIT, FOG2, and INV2. He's still easier than a WARMECH.

Chaos
Hit Points: 2000
Weakness: None
Tactic: FAST all Knights, Ninjas, and Red Wizards. Now, FADE and NUKE the crap out of him. Oh, and make sure to use WALL at the beginning of the fight, followed by FOG2.
