| Alright. Here's the deal with this page. I worked for a couple of guys opening a computer shop called PCs of the Ancients. I'm probably doing some work for them in the summer as well. So, since they're just starting up, I told them I'd promote them here. Basically, they're providing an alternative to high end machines with the P-4 and Athlon processors. This means you get a Pentium, P II, K-6 sized machine at a fairly good price. If you like the idea, you should go visit them across from the Bull and Quench (across John, not the other street). Kurt knows what hes doing, and can hook you up with what he can dig up. Just don't keep quiet if you find something unreasonable. For example, if you go in to buy a Sound Blaster 16, and he's selling it for the price of a brand new sound card, tell him that! Don't be a scavenger or a heckler either. Thats just a huge piss-off. Anyway, back to the (ab)normal content of The Skippy Zone!. |
