At what point does an idea become a realization? This is a question more easily asked than answered. To me, its all about what you feel is a good thing to do. When I created The Skippy Zone!, I decided to take a different approach than most people. I decided to make content people would react to and want to see more of. My first major idea was the Anger Management page. The concept was simple and amusing: Use pictures of beautiful scenery and lush greenery, add a background to follow the mix and let fly. The reaction was what I wanted. Now, it was time for something new. I thought for a few hours on how to build on this small success. The next day, I asked my good friend Pete if he'd like to have Ten Things posted on the Internet. After discussing copyright issues with him, he went for it and I immediately started on the project. Once that was out of the way, a new challenge arose: more content. Eventually, I saw that this site had more to offer in content than some magazines. basically, I wanted to find a good way to keep the whole thing relevant to me and my folowing, while still keeping the site original. I could've had a Simpson's web site, but that's been done too much. I could've had a Final Fantasy VII site, but again, its been done. Now, my realization is that nything I want to showcase can go in here while I do some school work, too. With my writing to bring in new people and show more people that the small guy can win, this site has no real limit.
