I wish that I could summon the sun, to take away those clouds of grey. I wish that I could chase all your demons away. I wish that I could do more than hug you when you're sad. I wish that I could drain away the anger when you're mad. I wish I knoew what to do to make you smile again. I wish I could magic away the pain. I know that life requires some things to go wrong along the way. I know that I can never always know what's right to say. I know that if we are to learn we have to face the pain within. But I know that alone you'll never win. I hope you realise that I am always here for you. I hope you realise we'll always see it through. I hope you realise how much I'll keep trying my best to be. All that a good friend should, and more, because my friends are part of me. |
