The Story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, is an uniquely written story about a young wife who slowly goes insane. There are a few unanswered questions in the story which only makes it more interesting. Such as, was the reason "Jane" was brought to the house that she was already sick and needed to be taken care of. Also, Did she really get better or worse by the end of the story. And was her husband John really on doing what was good for her, or was he being a neglegive spouse? All of these questions are up for interpretation. |
