| HERE IS A GWL CARD FROM ALMOST ONE YEAR AGO (11/10/03) |
| GWL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT - MATCH #1 ZERO / PHOENIX (The Revolution) vs. NIGHTSHADE / HARD AS NAILS (The Unholy Alliance) Before the match starts, the announcer reminds the crowd that only Zero can be pinned on his team as per pre-match stipulations.... Zero grabs the mic and says that he doesn't want the Unholy Ones whining after the match because the Revolution had an unfair advantage... So Zero then asks the referee to waive that stipulation... The referee allows the rule change... Zero and Hard as Nails are the first two in the ring..... Hard as Nails is pleading for his ex-partner to get in the ring first.... Zero looks at the fans, who all want to see the two ex-partners go at it.... Zero tags in Phoenix... (LOUD POP).... The two have a long staredown as the crowd electricity builds.... Hard as Nails slaps Phoenix across the face..... Phoenix returns it...... The two begin a flurry of punches to each other... (LOUD POP)...... Phoenix grabs ahold of Hard as Nails and drives his kinee into H.A.N.'s mid-section.... Then again.... Phoenix then grabs H.A.N. and starts a vertical suplex, but H.A.N. reverses it in mid-air, and once he hands, immediately belly-to-back suplexes Phoenix..... Then again.... He tries for a third suplex, but Zero comes in and kicks H.A.N. in the stomach, breaking up the suplex.... Nightshade charges in and attacks Zero.... Those two now start exchanging non-stop punches..... (LOUD POP)..... Zero clothesline Nightshade and himself over the top rope to the floor..... HAN and Phoenix both get up slowly... Nightshade and Zero both get up slowly outside the ring... At the same time, all four men start exchanging punches again... (LOUD POP).... Nightshade and Zero end up going into the crowd..... HAN does a Russian leg sweep to Phoenix..... HAN then attempts a figure four leglock, but Phoenix blocks it, and instead, rolls him up in a cradle pin attempt, but only gets a two count..... The two get up together and deliver simutanious DDT's to each other... They both lay in the ring stunned..... Zero and Nightshade end up on top of the ramp, and they are exchanging punches..... From behind the curtain appears Show Stopper with his kendo-stick.... Just as he walks through the curtain, the Executioner also walks through, and grabs ahold of Show Stopper, and the two begin brawling back through the curtain..... Nightshade nails Zero with a forearm to the face.... While down, Zero grabs Show Stopper's kendo-stick, and stands up and charges at Nightshade with the kendo stick being rammed into Nightshade's mid-section... Both men go flying off the top of the ramp and down to the production area's table and equipment.... Neither man is moving..... (LOUD 'HOLY SHIT' CHANT) Back in the ring, HAN comes to first, and slowly pulls Phoenix up to his feet.... He drags him over to the corner.... He delivers two kicks to Phoenix's mid-section.... HAN then picks up Phoenix and sets him on the top rope.... HAN climbs up, and prepares to deliver a SuperPlex, but Phoenix executes an eye rake to HAN.... Then again.... Phoenix then grabs the blinded HAN, and delivers a belly-to-belly suplex to HAN off the top rope over the guard rail outside and into the crowd !!!.... (MEGA HUGE 'HOLY SHIT' CHANT ERUPTS)... Both men lay motionless outside in the crowd.... The ref starts the ten count.... On the count of six, both men have slowly made it to their feet... At the seven count, both are struggling to climb back over the guard rail..... At the nine count, both men go over the guardrail, but land on the mat outside on the floor... Both men are now laying on the mat outside semi-concious... The ref counts to ten, then calls for the bell..... DOUBLE COUNTOUT...... NEITHER TEAM WILL ADVANCE TO THE FINALS The crowd stands up and gives all four men a standing ovationn as they lie motionless at different sides of the arena..... Nightshade and Zero are both helped out of the production area... As they near each other, Nightshade lunges forward and takes Zero down, and they start exchanging weak punches... They are seperated by GWL officials.... Hard as Nails and Phoenix are both helped to their feet, and still wanna go at it in their broken down state, but they too are kept seperated by GWL officials... Both men are helped back to the dressing room... ============================================== WHEEL OF HONOR QUALIFYING MATCH A-ROZ vs O'KATO vs THE SHADOW All 3 men come to the ring seperately..... The Shadow and O'Kato go right after A-Roz and start double teaming him... A-Roz tries to stem off the attack, but is overpowered by the duo... O'Kato grabs A-Roz by the neck and Shadow kicks A-Roz several times in the gut... O'Kato drops A-Roz to the mat and starts kicking at him, when Shadow comes up from behind and delivers a reverse DDT to O'Kato and goes for the quick cover 1..2... O'Kato kicks out... Shadow then starts to punch O'Kato repeatedly in the head... A-Roz dropkicks Shadow in the back of the head, sending Shadow down in a heap... A-Roz then starts to deliver vicious kicks to O'Kato, and in turn delivers kicks to Shadow's back... Back and fourth, A-Roz kicks O'Kato, then Shadow... He stops, picks up O'Kato, and press slams him over the top rope onto the arena floor... A-Roz turns around and is met with a boot to his face from the recovered Shadow....(LOUD CROWD POP) Shadow then picks up A-Roz and gives him five multiple suplexes (like Eddie Guerreo does)... Then Shadow redirects his attention to O'Kato, who has slowly slid back into the ring... He walks over to O'Kato and begins to pick him up, when O'Kato low blows him, sending Shadow down to his knees... A-Roz comes charging back over towards O'Kato, who reaches into his tights and pulls out a chain, and cold cocks the charging A-Roz.... O'Kato then goes over to Shadow, picks him up and gives him a Russian leg sweep... O'Kato then climbs to the top turnbuckle and goes for the moonsault... As he comes down, Shadow catches him in mid-air, and gives him a tombstone piledriver, then goes for the cover... 1....2....3..... WINNER OF THE WHEEL OF HONOR QUALIFYING MATCH : SHADOW Shadow steps over the top rope, and jumps down to the floor, and walks back up the ramp.... He'll battle the Wheel of Honor Champion next week...... Whether it be Show Stopper, Executioner, or somebody else... =================================== TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT MATCH #2 X-TREME / AZTEC (Hard Corps) vs. TERMINATOR-X / MAD DOG MURDOCK (The Coalition) Being that the first match had no winner to advance to the finals, this match should determine the new tag team champions..... Hard Corps enter the ring first.... They are followed by the Coalition, who charge the ring and begin an attack before the match starts... Terminator-X and Mad Dog Murdock immediately knock X-Treme to the floor and go to work on Aztec.... They take turns putting the boot to Aztec.... (BOOS)... X-Treme comes back in and double clotheslines them both from behind..... (LOUD POP)... X-Treme tosses Terminator-X over the top rope, and goes to work on Mad Dog Murdock... An �X-TREME� chant starts..... Aztec grabs a chair and runs off the apron onto Terminator-X, who had just climbed back to his feet, with an hard chair shot.... X-Treme continues to tears into Mad Dog.... X-Treme motions to Aztec to go to the top rope... X-treme goes up to the top on the next turnbuckle.... Aztec and X-treme jump off at the same time and land a perfect double flying clothesline to Mad Dog Murdock !!!...... (HUGE 'HOLY SHIT' CHANT).... X-Treme goes for the cover, but Terminator-X jumps in and stops the count at two..... Terminator-X connects with a legdrop across the face of X-Treme and picks him up.... Terminator-X goes to elevate him, but X-Treme connects with a front dropkick.... X-Treme goes for a cross body on Mad Dog Murdock, and gets caught by Mad Dog in a belly-to-belly suplex.... Terminator-X quickly jumps out and Mad Dog tags him.... Terminator-X begins his onslaught on X-Treme.... Terminator-X comes off the ropes with a big boot to the back of the head of X-Treme..... As he turns around, he is leveled by a brutal power clothesline from Aztec....Now both X-treme and Terminator-X are down..... Both crawl slowly to their corners..... Terminator-X tags in Mad Dog Murdock first.... Just as he enters the ring, X-Treme tags in Aztec..... Aztec and Mad Dog Murdock start exchanging a flurry of punches, but Aztec's strength helps him get the advantage.... Aztec then drops three hard elbow drops to Mad Dog's chest...., He then picks up Mad Dog, and nails a running powerslam (like British Bulldog)...... He covers Mad Dog for the pin.... Right before the three count, Terminator-X jumps down and puts Mad Dog's leg on the bottom rope... The ref counts to three, but Terminator-X screams at the ref that Mad Dog's leg is on the ropes... The ref sees that, and orders the match to continue...(HUGE BOOS)..... X-Treme runs over and begins to chase Terminator-X around the ring.... As the ref is distracted, Mad Dog reaches into his tights and pulls out a set of brass knux.... When Aztec stands Mad Dog up, Mad Dog clocks him in the jaw with them, sending him down to the mat.... Mad Dog goes for the cover.....On the two count, Aztec gets his foot on the rope, but right before the three count, Terminator-X pushes his foot off the rope !!!..... The ref makes the three count, and calls for the bell..... WINNER OF THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT BY PINFALL : TERMINATOR-X AND MAD DOG MURDOCK.... MAD DOG MURDOCK GETS THE TITLE SHOT AGAINST KID HEART IN THE MAIN EVENT... X-Treme grabs ahold of Terminator-X and X-Bombs him through the announcer's table.... Then X-Treme climbs into the ring, and starts pointing at Mad Dog Murdock...(LOUD POP)..... Mad Dog starts backing up.... He backs up into Aztec, who is now standing up..... Mad Dog turns around, and is nailed by a powerful clothesline..... Aztec then grabs Mad Dog, presses him above his head, and tosses him over the top rope down onto Terminator-X...... (HUGE POP)......X-Treme and Aztec grab the tag team belts and throws them out on top of Terminator-X and Mad Dog, who are both still laying on the broken announcer's table..... Hard Corps leave the ring, and go back to the dressing room.... Officials help Terminator-X and Mad Dog Murdock up and help them back to the dressing room..... ========================================= WHEEL OF HONOR CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW STOPPER (c) vs EXECUTIONER The famed Wheel of Honor is brought down to the ring.... Out comes Executioner to various "You Suck" and "Learn to Fight" chants... Out next is the W.O.H. champion Show Stopper to a decent pop... The challenger, Executioner, spins the wheel.... It stops at.... RAZOR WIRE MATCH !!! .... Winner to be declared by pinfall, submission, or physically unable to continue... The GWL ring crew wheel down to the ring several spools of razor wire and begin wrapping the ring's ropes with the razor wire and leaving sheets of plywood with nailed down razor wire around the outside of the ring... Show Stopper walks around the ring and inspects the razor wire and gingerly slides out the ring... He then grabs a mic, looks at Executioner, and says "Listen Executioner, I'm friggin' tired of fighting your worthless ass, so tonight i'm going to make you bleed like a stuck pig, and once and for all prove that you don't belong in the ring with me or any other wrestler here !!!"... (CROWD POPS!!!) Show Stopper throws down his belt and charges into the ring and slides underneath the bottom rope as Executioner does a baseball slide catching Show Stopper in the face sending Stopper to the arena floor narrowly missing a razor wire board... Executioner slides out after him and begins to laying the boots to him... Executioner picks up a razor board, positions the razor wire face down, and begins to bring the board down when Show Stopper kicks it, sending the board into Executioner's chest, and knocking Executioner off his feet (LOUD POP)... Show Stopper gets up and grabs the board and starts beating Executioner with it... Show Stopper then picks up Executioner and delivers a devestating piledriver onto the arena floor... (LOUD POP).... Show Stopper grabs another razor board and places in wire down on Executioner's chest, then climbs to the top turnbuckle and does a Swanton Bomb onto Executioner..(LOUD 'HOLY SHIT' CHANT).... The board breaks, and also drives the razor sharp barbs into Executioner's chest causing Executioner to bleed immediately... Show Stopper, after the high risk spot, is laying off to the side of Executioner motionless.... Executioner begins to move as the blood continues to pour from his chest... Show Stopper slowly gets up, grabs Executioner by the hair, and pushes him into the ring... Show Stopper follows and picks up Executioner and goes for a short arm clothesline, but Executioner ducks and pushes Show Stopper into the ring ropes... Show Stopper bounces off the ropes and screams out in pain as the barbs rip into his exposed chest.... Executioner then gives Show Stopper a neckbreaker as Show Stopper is coming off the ropes and goes for the pin...1....2.... Show Stopper kicks out...(LOUD POP)... Enraged, Executioner begins to pummel the face of Show Stopper... He picks Show Stopper up and flings him into the ropes again... Show Stopper bounces off the ropes screaming as the wire rips way more at his flesh... He flies towards Executioner, who does a drop toe hold sending Show Stopper face first into the razor wire wrapped bottom rope... Show Stopper grabs his face as blood begins to pour through his hands... Executioner slides out of the ring and grabs two more razor wire boards and slides them into the ring... He places one board in the corner and one in the center of the ring... He kicks at Show Stopper some more and picks him up as Show Stopper is a bloddy mess, and Irish whips him into the corner.... Show Stopper reverses it, sending Executioner into the corner... (LOUD POP).... Executioner hits the board and the razor wire goes deep into his back, breaking the board in the process... Show Stopper goes into the corner and lifts the bloodied Executioner up onto the top turnbuckle and superplexes Executioner onto the other board... (LOUD POP).... Executioner screams out in pain...Show Stopper goes for the cover..1...2.... Executioner kicks out... Show Stopper picks up the broken board and begins to beat Executioner with it.... He then picks up Executioner smiles at him, wipes the blood from his face and wipes on the mask of the Executioner.... Out of nowhere, Executioner grabs Show Stopper by the throat.... He looks enraged.... He thrusts Show Stopper backwards into the razor wired ropes, and when be comes back staggering towards Executioner, Executioner grabs him again by the throat, lifts him up, and chokeslams Show Stopper in a rolled up mass of wire from the broken boards... He carefully goes down avoiding the razor wire, and covers the bloody Show Stopper for the three count..... WINNER, AND NEW WHEEL OF HONOR CHAMPION : EXECUTIONER Several medical personel rush to the ring.... Show Stopper is cut away from the tangled ball of razor wire and treated for his torn back.... Executioner has a pressure bandage applied to a large gash on his back.... Both men are helped back to the dressing rooms with a huge ovation from the fans in one of the bloodiest matches ever witnessed in GWL history..... ========================================== A VIDEO PACKAGE SHOWS CLIPS OF THE INJURED BIG SHOT, McBAIN, AND EL INSANO IN PREVIOUS MATCHES.... THE ANNOUNCERS GIVE AN UPDATE TO THEIR CONDITIONS.... THEY SAY BOTH BIG SHOT AND McBAIN SHOULD BE BACK IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS.... EL INSANO IS RUMORED TO BE PONDERING RETIREMENT.... =========================================== ++++ MAIN EVENT ++++ GWL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP KID HEART (C) vs MAD DOG MURDOCK Mad Dog Murdock comes down to the ring wearing his new GWL Tag Team Title belt.... With him is his tag team partner, Terminator-X.... Both still appear a bit tired from their earlier match... Next out is the GWL World Champion Kid Heart... With him is the new Wheel of Honor Champion Executioner, who had had more bandages put on his wounds from the previous bloody, brutal battle..... The four face off.... The ref orders Executioner and Terminator-X to leave the ringside area.... They both do leave, but reluctantly..... The ref calls for the bell to start the match.... Both men trade punches... Kid Heart, out of nowhere, after Mad Dog misses a punch, hits a weak Sweet Chin Music..... Mad Dog is stunned..... Kid Heart goes to the top rope, and dives off with a crossbody, but is caught in mid-air by Murdock..... Mad Dog delivers a powerslam, and quickly goes for a cover, but only gets a two count.... Mad Dog picks Kid Heart up, but Heart delivers a barrage of chop shots to Murdock's chest.... Kid Heart then starts unloading hard kicks to Mad Dog's mid-section..... Finally, Mad Dog goes down.... Kid Heart grabs his legs, pulls him to the center of the ring, and quickly turns him over into a Boston Crab.... Mad Dog Murdock powers out of it...... Mad Dog tosses Kid Heart out of the ring.... Mad Dog throws a few punches at Kid Heart, then rolls him into the ring.... Mad Dog looks for a chair.... As he looks, Kid Heart climbs to the top rope, and dropkicks Mad Dog Murdock on he outside ..... ('HOLY SHIT' CHANT).... Both men are down...... Kid Heart gets up first, and rolls back into the ring.... He climbs again to the top rope, and jumps off the top attempting to hit a flying knee drop onto Mad Dog, but Mad Dog gets up and nails Kid Heart in mid-flight with a mid-air gore !!!..... (ANOTHER 'HOLY SHIT' CHANT)..... Both men are again down.... Mad Dog Murdock is up first.... He picks up Kid Heart and rolls him into the ring, then rolls in himself... (A 'MAD DOG' CHANT STARTS).... Mad Dog drops two elbows to Kid Heart's chest.... He then picks up Kid Heart and whips him into the ropes, then catches him in motion and delivers his belly-to-belly suplex set-up move....(LOUD 'MAD DOG' CHANT)..... Mad Dog is totally psyched out and on fire..... Mad Dog positions himself behind Kid Heart as he struggles to get to his feet, waiting to clamp on his cross face chicken wing..... Kid Heart is now on his feet, and Mad Dog clamps his hold on.... Kid Heart screams out in pain..... (HUGE POP)....... Down the ramp runs the masked man in a black leather trench coat and black jeans who cut an interview as 'the mysterious stranger'.... He reaches under the ring, and pulls out a electric shock batton..... He reaches into the ring with it as the ref is asking Kid Heart if he wants to submit, and shocks Mad Dog in the back of his leg with it.... (LOUD BOOS)... Mad Dog releases the cross faced chicken wing and collapses to the mat.... Mad Dog appears unconcious...... Terminator-X comes running down the ramp, but is jumped from behind by the Executioner.... Those two brawl at the bottom of the ramp..... As this is happening, the referee is trying to break them up..... The 'Mysterious Stranger' rolls into the ring, and drags Kid Heart over on top of Mad Dog Murdock, then rolls back out of the ring.... (LOUD BOOS).... He screams for the ref to get back into the ring to make the count.... The ref sees the pin, rolls back into the ring, and makes the three count...... (HUGE BOOS)....Terminator-X dives into the ring, but was just a second too late to stop the count.... WINNER, AND STILL GWL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION : KID HEART Terminator-X sees Mad Dog unconcious, and looks very concerned.... He looks out at the Mysterious Stranger with a stare of death.... He picks up Kid Heart and throws him outside onto Executioner..... The 'Mysterious Stranger' goes over to Kid Heart and Executioner, and helps them up.... Kid Heart is still holding his left arm and shoulder as Executioner grabs the World Title belt, then helps his partner up to the top of the ramp.... Terminator-X helps Mad Dog sit up..... They both are looking up at the three men on top of the ramp..... Kid Heart grabs the title and raises it over his head with his right arm.... He drops the belt, smiles, and walks over to the 'Mysterious Stranger'...... He grabs the top of his mask, and pulls it off.... To reveal..... - - - - McBAIN !!!!!... The third member of the famed Coalition, or should we say... the 'ex-member' of the Coalition ???..... The crowd is stunned, as is Terminator-X and Mad Dog Murdock.... (HUGE 'ASSHOLE' CHANT ERUPTS).... The show ends with a close-up of McBain laughing, along with Kid Heart and Executioner.... - - |
