Shawn "SkipShawn" Philippon

I am a native of the Burlington, VT area. Hanging out there from 1986-1992 was a lot of fun, to say the least. I lived in Potsdam, NY for 6 years where I played in several bands (B.O.F.L., Wow and Flutter, Wilson Philippon, and Raw Toast to name a few).

After that, I spent almost 3 years in Watertown, NY teaching mathematics at Jefferson Community College and many of the local public schools. I have been in Syracuse, NY since 1995. I teach Calculus at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.

In my spare time I try to learn some of Bob Weir's guitar secrets. My electric guitars are Schecters. One is a Pete Townshend Series Schecter with Duncan Design pickups. The other is a C-1+ also with Duncan Design pickups. My acoustic is a Takimine EG530C.

I use a Rocktron Chameleon rack effects processor run by an ART X15 MIDI controller with an expression pedal. My rack also includes a Toneworks/Korg DTR-2 tuner and a C.B.I. power conditioner. When playing acoustic, I run the Takimine through a tube channel pre-amp/compressor/parametric EQ.

I run a Rocktron Velocity 500 power amp into a 4x12 (mini) Crate speaker cabinet.

Jeff "Animal" Roney

I'm a native of Syracuse, NY. I lived in Manhattan for 8 years while playing withvarious bands such as Big Pygmy and My Sick Friends.

I have also toured with Lancaster County Prison (NYC) and have lots of recording experience. I have played at many of the major clubs in NYC like CBGB's, The Cat Club, The Continental, The Spiral, The Bitter End just to name a few.

I love reggae, ska, island music, and blues music. Some of my favorites are Magic Slim and the Teardrops, The Specials, Marley, Tosh, Sly and Robbie, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, and many more.

The only thing I like more than seeing live music is playing live music.
