Skin Symbolz was set-up and is still owned and run by award winning tattoo artist Phil who set up his first shop in Port Erin at a very tender age some 10 years ago. Phil deceided to try his hand at tattooing after having a poor tattoo done locally and thinking "I can do better than that" - an ideal which he has reached and surpassed having gone on to win various awards at major Tattoo conventions in N. Ireland, England and Scotland.

Five years ago Phil decided to move his tattoo studio to Douglas, opening a shop in Church Street, Douglas, where his tattoo and piercing business went from strength to strength until 18 months ago it was time to expand again. So he moved next door along Church Street into the 2nd floor Art Studio situated in Kelly's Courtyard, just off Church Street.

The new shop is ideal as a tattooists having a lower Flash Gallery and waiting area with the upper floor catering for everyone's tattooing and piercing needs which also has a waiting area for those people wishing to bring along moral support.

The shop now has 2 artists. Working with Phil is Simon in the day to day business of applying ink to skin.

The Skin Symbolz Tattoo Studio offers clients over 13 years of combined experience safe in the knowledge that the studio is fully health registered and insured.

All the work that is carried out is guaranteed and as the Isle of Man's only joint Tattooists and Body Piercing Studio a full aftercare system is in place.

Although the shop is open on a daily basis - appointments may be required as both Phil and Simon travel extensively to many UK Tattoo Conventions.
