Having locked himself in his room, Soundwave was able to find a cure for the
virus by the morning the next day. It was clear what the virus had done, and
he found himself standing in front of Megatron, with Starscream hovering in
the background. The jet had left Megatron’s room soon after he awoke,
insisting that he wanted to flying. Megatron had let him, luckily just in time,
for the vaccine for the virus took effect just after it.
“The virus caused the ones infected to be attracted to their greatest
enemy,” Soundwave explained monotonously, “This was caused by a
power surge scrambling the original virus’s code.”
Megatron rubbed his chin in thought. “So no one remembers anything of
yesterday?”
“All memories were wiped.” The communications officer replied.
“Very good Soundwave,” Megatron commented, “You may leave.”
The blue decepticon complied and left, Starscream turning to follow also –
“Wait a moment Starscream,” Megatron ordered, “I’d like
a word.”
With a sense of forbidding, Starscream turned back towards his leader, who had
stepped closer to him.
“I remember everything that happened,” he rumbled lowly.
Starscream clenched his teeth in fright, but Megatron merely smiled and stroked
his second’s cheek. Starscream glanced up at him, unsure of what to do.
“And I’m eager to continue that sometime,” Megatron continued
with a smile, cupping Starscream’s face, “But if you don’t
want to, that’s too bad … you’ve started this so you’ve
gotta continue.
“O-okay!” The seeker stammered, clearly afraid of that might happen
if he didn’t.
Megatron smiled evilly and left soon enough, his head held high in victory.
“Bastard …” Starscream muttered, but couldn’t hide a
smile.
The End!
