Megatron groggily awoke.
He was lying on what appeared to be a med table in the Repair centre. So the
constructions must’ve repaired him after they had had their
fun. Megatron shuddered as he remembered how all six had ripped off his head
and then left his body in a cupboard as they put just his head on life support.
After a while, Megatron went into statis mode, and they must’ve come back
and repaired him. Well, nothing seemed wrong.
As the day passed, Megatron noticed that the army, it seemed, were more or less
back to normal. Now was the time to plan an attack, and to draw out the traitorous
red seeker …
From the waste land
Cold steel under my wasteband
Hazardous times
Enemy lines drawn in the middle the streets
The concrete's stained with blood
I still got to eat

It wasn’t long before an attack on a power station occurred.
Starscream was in his quarters at the moment, asleep. It was quite early still,
and the seeker was exhausted from everything that had happened in the last 24
hours. Emotionally anyway. Starscream awoke with a start like usual, and then
preceded to sit up.
Just then, a huge siren went though the base, to signal a Decepticon attack.
Starscream suddenly felt a thrill of terror rush though him … Megatron
would surely want to draw me out so he can beat me again …
The red Seeker shook his head to clear the negative thoughts. No …
not this time.
His door opened, and Skyfire rushed in. “Starscream! We’ve got to
go! It’s the Decepticon Air force that is attacking the power station
at Arizona. Optimus asked me to get you.” The white jet looked pleadingly
at him, “he and I both know this might be a bit too sudden, but we’re
losing badly.”
Starscream looked at his feet for a moment, before replying, “alright.”
He and Skyfire ran out of the room and headed straight to the Ark’s doors.
They leapt into the air and transformed, taking off in a blast of red and yellow
flames. Starscream was set. He would show Megatron … revenge was truly
at hand now.
And this time, it was for a worthy cause …
When I hit the street I made the man understand
I fought with flesh and I bled like a man
I rode that edge of darkness my friend
Stood up to the enemy so life could begin
The Ariel bots were losing badly against the seekers. Even without
Starscream, they were still a force to be reckoned with. They had taken out
Slingshot and Airraid, and they showed no sign of relenting. All were in jet
form at the moment, and chasing one another with dark intent.
Megatron was currently ordering the seekers while collecting power, when he
noticed Skyfire join the fight; he cursed him, still remembering the time, which
the white jet had hurled him over his head like a rag doll. But Megatron’s
attention was diverted as he heard someone land behind him, and he turned.
“You!” he gasped out.
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
back up of off me
Off of me
Off of me
Off of me
Back up back up
Starscream had the look of forbidding so powerful that Megatron would almost
feel it. It was so different to any look that Starscream had ever given him
that the silver transformer was almost scared … almost. A huge blast behind
them shot fire into the air and across the scene, making the landscape look
almost theoretical. Megatron swayed from the vibrations, but the seeker didn’t
even flinch.
Traces of ignorance
Offence of hatred
The faces change in the same old places
Dark nights and lost souls
Collide to cross those
The line between a death and dream
The seeker’s optics looked like bright rubies burning in
a nightmare background of darkness. The flames danced off of the seeker’s
armour, giving him the impression of a phoenix. His gaze held no fear, no …
as much as the flames looked so warm and inviting from the explosion, the fire
in Starscream’s eyes looked ice cold and forbidding … he would not
back down.
“Megatron!” He announced, throwing his arm up and pointing at him,
“Your time has come! I vow that I will destroy you, today! Once and for
all!”
Megatron laughed, cold and maniacal. “You think you can beat me? You?!”
He laughed again. “You’re nothing but a miserable coward who hid
in my shadow. You are nothing compared to me.”
I never wanted to lead your leash
To pull around your ton of grief
Starscream closed his optics. “You’re wrong.”
Megatron spat out, “What?!”
The seeker then opened his optics again, and looked at him with pure hate. “All
this time you believed I was worthless and inferior to you, you’re wrong.
For I have re-discovered a part of me that I thought you had taken forever,
and he will help me.”
Megatron looked slightly interested, “What do you mean?” He growled.
Starscream smirked at him, “That.” He said, “Is for me to
know …”
He levelled his gun at him, “and for you to find OUT!”
I'll come back with a fist of lead
To educate your mind with a blow to your head
The purple laser fire hit a surprised Megatron right in the chest,
throwing him back into a fiery wall. He looked up and fired his fusion cannon,
which Starscream dodged. He landed, and smirked at him again. “Not this
time. I’m not afraid of you anymore, Mighty Megatron!”
He charged at the fallen Warlord, and Megatron got up in time to just block
the attack.
“You will never beat me you worth- AAHHH!!” Megatron was smacked
back as Starscream flying kicked him in the jaw.
“I AM NOT WORTHLESS!” He screamed as loud as he could, and this
time, he truly believed it. No more grovelling or being thrown around. He had
been reborn … as himself again.
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
Back up of off me
Off of me
Off of me
Off of me!
Megatron did not believe what he was seeing and hearing. The seeker
… oh no …
The seeker’s weapon was himself!
Megatron tried to tackle him, but missed as Starscream dodged out of the way.
He jumped up, and landed with a knee in his former leader’s back, creating
a deep dent. Megatron screamed, and fired his fusion cannon at the seeker, and
this time, it hit … but …
Starscream didn’t even appear to be phased by the power of the attack.
It didn’t look like he felt much of anything anymore. He poured laser
fire into Megatron’s back, not caring about anything anymore. He only
stopped when he saw the circuitry show, and then stepped back. Megatron, slowly,
still glaring at him, got up, barely able to stand.
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
(You are exposed to all of the danger!)
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
(You are exposed to all of the danger!)
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
(You are exposed to all of the danger!)
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
(You are exposed to all of the danger!)
You are exposed to all of the danger!
You are exposed to all of the danger!
You are exposed to all of the danger!
Danger!
Danger!
Danger!
He tried to fire his fusion cannon at the seeker, but it had run
out of power. He had nothing left … and he knew the seekers above him,
still duelling with the Aerial bots, would not come to his aid. He was alone.
He fell to one knee, the pain in his back too terrible to hold up his frame
any longer.
“Without your status …” Starscream murmured, looking down
at Megatron like he had oh so wanted to in the past, but now for other reasons.
“Without someone or an army, you are nothing. Your ego has left you open
to destruction, and that will be your downfall.”
The seeker stepped back, glaring at him. “You know the funny thing about
this? Prime told me that you would come here soon enough to draw me out. But
it doesn’t look like you got what you wanted is it?”
Megatron looked up like a whimpering dog. “The seekers need you back,
Starscream! Please come back! I beg of you!”
Starscream laughed, a cruel and blood curdling laugh straight from hell itself.
“Come back?! You want me to return just for the seekers?! That isn’t
the reason you want me back, Megatron. You just want me back for your personal
punching bag. No.”
He turned. Megatron, inside, boiled as he did. No one turned his back on him!!
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
You know you got to
Back the fuck up
(Back up off of me)
Back up of off me
Off of me
Off of me
Off of me
The seekers above failed against the newly revived force, and
Megatron noticed. They were lost without Starscream, and the worst of it, the
red seeker knew it. Looking over his shoulder, Starscream smirked at him, “Go
back to your base Megatron. I’m though with you and your petty reasoning
with me. It’s over! Do you hear me?!” He whipped around, and looked
into the sky,
“I WILL NEVER LET YOU BEAT ME AGAIN!!”
Never! Never! Never! Never!
The words echoed around the flaming land. Megatron stayed frozen in his kneel,
watching the retreating back of the red seeker … the once second in command
of the army … once weak and without self esteem … once swore to
never leave … once his very old friend …
Starscream was gone. Though the flames he walked to join Skyfire and the aerial
bots back to the Autobot base. The seekers had left back to base not long ago,
leaving Megatron alone at the power station. But he stood, and he did not stumble.
“Starscream!” he declared. Then, looking at his black hands, he
said, “One day coming … these hands will destroy you.”
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answers
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answers
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answers
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
Don't let the time pass waitin' for the answer
He grinned evilly, and took to the sky. He never looked back at the retreating Autobot jets; no … he would have his revenge …
Back at the Decepticon base, Thundercracker thought back to the
fight between Megatron and Starscream …
… And he smiled.
