This chair I made in one of the Hereford woods, being handed a log of ash that had felled literally days before I went about clearing and spitting the log intil I had two almost identical halves. Creating one simple join through the back of the chair I connected the seat, and then shaved two legs for the front of the chair, and with a through tenon wedge the front legs were secure and a turned pole for the back of the seat holds that tight in place.
This really is a chair like no other! |
