Page 1: Through the years |
My old friend Andy Anderegg has this barn, and
they hung a rope from the rafters. We'd go in there and just beat the sh*t out
of ourselves and each other. (Look at the 'fro!)

This was me and one of the crew -- a great guy --
Jimmy Beers, who's no longer with us. Rest in peace, Jim, we miss you.
|
I think this was my sophomore year in high
school. I was probably 15 or 16. Curly hair, big glasses, and back then I always
wore a bandanna. No, I was not cool in high school.
|
Jimmy and me again. I used to dress up like I was
a rock star sometimes, so that's the deal with the Motley Crue makeup. Yep, I
was a cool kid.

Bill Rawson's basement, around '86 or so.
I was still trying to find my sense of style. I see this pic, and I remember how
DEPRESSED I was at that point, the drinking and the drugs (and the whole high
school scene) were just taking a toll. I'm glad I came out of it alive and with
no jail time.

Me and my father, David Blackwell, January 1987
(my senior year). Someone really needed to pull me aside and tell me that the
black hat REALLY didn't work. (They also needed to tell me to shave off that
dumb ass mustache)
|
This is the woman who saved my life, Karri Ada
(and her son Jeremiah). My first true love. If it hadn't been for her, I
probably wouldn't be who I am today. Around '87
|
As anyone who really knows me can tell you, I can definitely be one big dork. Here I'm working the dork angle on two hotties. Early '90's.
|
This is me and my sister Lisa, Christmas
'92. My parents had a house fire in '91, and after demolition, they only had one
room that had a floor. So we had our Christmas in that room.
|
Dinate Nichols and me, Christmas '92.
Dinate was my 3rd woman I fell in love with. It only lasted about a year & 1/2.
Ah, youth.
|
From '93 to about '95 or so I worked at
Wal-Mart. I was the Electronic Dept. Manager. I was THE MAN! lol
|
I was once a college radio DJ. I had the Skinnyboy Radio show at WNTE, Mansfield
University. It was SO MUCH FUN!
