            From the ashes of what was the peaceful nation of Mobius, rise a new hero. A hero that will claim the loyalty of the millions of Mobians that follow him, as well as his team of freedom fighters. His name, Sonic the Hedgehog, his team, the Chaotix...

            Since the downfall of the great Chaosis, a group of freedom fighters that had fought Gerald Robotnik over 40 years ago, and the downfall of the much despised grandfather of Eggman, Mobius has been in the state of peace. Yet soon after, they were overcome by a new evil mastermind who lived to seek world domination, and continue where his grandfather Gerald Robotnik left off. His name, was Ivo Julian Robotnik aka Eggman.

           Now Sonic and his newly amassed freedom fighters must make their victory, and must crush the evil Eggman and send him back to whence he came. It's time for Sonic to do what he has longed to do, to destroy Robotnik, because this... is Sonic's Last Stand!
