God's Airlift
While working in the grocery store one day I was waiting on a very nice lady. As she paid for her groceries she slipped a folded sheet of notebook paper in my hand and told me it was for reading in my spare time. This is what it said:
Many will be broken hearted
When God's airlift they have missed
Christ is coming back to claim us
Sooner than some folk have guessed
It will happen in a moment
In the "twinkling of an eye"
We'll be changed to be like Jesus
And will meet Him in the sky
Now's the time for getting ready
The accepted time's today
Don't be too late for departure
Seek the Lord. Repent and pray
He is coming for the ready
Those who labor, watch and wait
Don't wait 'til the trumpte's sounding
Then forever be too late
Those who will obey the Bible
Listen for the Master's Voice
Will be caught up soon to meet Him
Then forever will rejoice
