Dermatologists (people who study about skin) help give tips to everyone on how to avoid skin cancer or sunburns. These tips include: -Try to stay out of the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. -When in the sun also use sun block that is SPF 15 or higher (ask your mom or dad to buy this for you). -Use sun block for your ears, nose, neck and hands as well. -Wear a hat and a shirt (better protection if long sleeves). -If you are going to be swimming, use waterproof sun block and always reapply after a few hours or cleaning yourself. |
