| Corinians: Hair: Normal colors include, Brown, Black, Red, and Blonde. However any color may be added using dye Eyes: Blue, Brown, Green. Other colors have been reported but these are standard Skin: Shades from a light peach to a dark brown almost black. Physique: Wide range from skinny to heavy set. Based on lifestyle. Height: Average from 4' 6" to 6'6" Clothing: Widely varied, dependant on environment and personal preference. Alot of times the clothing is not practical and worn more for display than anything. Description The Corinians were one of the first intelligent races upon Corinia. They named their planet and themselves after it. They are perhaps the most versatile of the races. The Corinians can be found in almost every job and in almost every city. The are the purest of the pure, and the most evil of the evil. They believe they are the chosen of Corinia and that because of this they are superior to all other races. Most Corinians are extremely intelligent and good with machinery. Which makes them ideal mechanics. Most political leaders are Corinians. The Corinians mostly rely on their calculating brain and technology to assist them in their daily functions. Ferali: Fur: Ranged to whatever tribe they represent Eyes: Ranged for whatever tribe they represent Skin: See Fur Physique: The range from small to large, based largely on tribal affiliation. Height: Wide range from short to very tall largely based on tribe Clothing: Widely varied but usually simple in design. Description: The Ferali were one of the first intelligent races upon Corinia. In appearance they look like a combination of Corinian and beast. Many have tails, tufted ears, claws, etc. Instead of skin most have a layer of fur, or scales, or some other sort of beastial attribute. They grew up in the many Wild frontiers throughout the the planet. When the Disaster struck they worked together with the Corinians to to raise the cities to the skies. They are good with natural things such as Mounted riding, and woodworking. They helped to design the myriad of airships that now fill the skies. They have calculating minds with a quick wit and rely on their agility and strength to help them in whatever profession they choose. The majority are risk takers and thrive on the exhiliration of the many dangers on Corinia. Keltians: Hair: Red, Black, Brown, Blonde, Silver (varied depending on heritage) Eyes: Gold, Violet, Gray, Blue, Green, Red (other colors have been seen) Skin: Pale Gray, Pale Gold, Ivory, Dark Brown, Black (varying shades of these) Physique: Usually slender in build. Height: 4'0" to 6'0" is average Clothing: Widely varied but they tend to stick to the colors of nature. Browns, greens, blues, etc. Most of their clothing is flattering, yet simple. Made for ease of movement. Description: The Keltians are a race of people who once lived on the surface of Corinia centuries ago. They now reside on the floating isles that move in the sky over the surface below. Like the Corinians they are a humanoid race, although they differ in looks. Pointed ears, slender build, and angular faces are all associated with the Keltians. They are a nature bound race, always seeking to restore the natural way of things in this realm.They are world reknown for their healing capabilities, having ancient understandings of most of the medical knowledge they are often found in many of the cities. As a whole they despise Technology, yet find themselves relying on it in order to survive in this world as they fight to save it from it's own destruction. Ankari: Hair: Normal hair, varying shades, or down feathers in shades of black, gray, brown or white. (other colors have been seen but are extremely rare.) Eyes: Humanoid or Fowl shaped eyes. Colors are gray, brown, and gold. Blu and green are uncommon but not rare. Skin: The skin of an Ankari is much like that of the Corinians, however most of the Ankari have lareg portions of their bodies covered with down feathers. Height: 5'0" to 8'0". They tend to be larger in order to support their massive wings. Clothing: The ankari wear as little as possible so as not to hinder their flight ability. Description: The Ankari are a race of people that are still a mystery to the other civilized races of Corinia. Until recently the Ankari have lived their lives out in the vast mountains that span the globe. Since the disaster that sruck Corinia tokk place all over the surface, the mountains that rose up into the cloud were somewhat safe from the majority of the chaos. However that Ankari are a solitary people and have made little contact with the other races of Corinia. Due to this they have a very limited knowledge of technology and rely mostly on their own weaponry to defend themselves. The Ankari have been known to have taloned hands or feet, bird-like eyes, tufted ears, and other bird like qualities. They sport massive wings that, coupled with the fact thier bone structure is hollow, allows them to achieve flight. However due to their light bone structure and slim build they often times avoid any form of combat. This is not to say they cannot fight, but they find themselves very vulnerable in comarison to the Corinians or Ferali. Drakes: Mane:Wide variety of colors. Some drakes do not have a mane at all. Eyes: Again the colors are widely varied. However all the drakes have reptilian eyes. Skin: Drakes are covered entirily by tough scales. This sort of natural protection is hard to penetrate with glancing blows however it is still flexible and plyable enough to be punctured by sword thrust or bullet. Additionally properly executed a slash could cleave through as well.. Length: Drakes are basically a smaller version of a dragon, the range in sizes but on average from snout to tail are 20' in length Height: standing on all fours they come up to twice an average man's height.. Wingspan: Dependant on length of the Drake but usually around 40' from tip to tip. Description: The Drakes were discovered living all over the world of Corinia. Blue drakes were found mostly in coastal area living in the cliffs overlooking the seas. Red drakes were found living in the deserts and in more heated areas such as Volcanos. Green Drakes were found in more Forested regions, where the Keltians and Gryphons were found. White drakes thrived in the frozen north. Black drakes were found nesting in swamps and bogs. Each drake is more or less the same however they do have minor differences. The blue drakes are more cooperative with the Corinians, The Red drakes prefer Ferali riders and the Green Drakes prefer riders of Keltian heritage. The white and Black drakes vehemtly despise eachother and usually do not like being riden by any sort of race. Additionally there are no metallic colored drakes on planet Corinia. Gryphons: Plummage::Usually ranging in a variety of earth tones. Usually shades of brown. Eyes: Again the colors are widely varied. However all the Gryphons have Feline eyes. Skin: A Gryphons skin is much like that of a lion's. In fact the entire second half of a gryphon is for all intensive purposes, a lion. The fur is usually a golden bronze color. Length: Gryphons, being more agile than their Drake counterparts are roughly 16-18' in length. Height: An average sized man would probably come up to the shoulder of a Gryphon. Wingspan: Dependant on length of the Gryphon but sually around 34' Description: The Gryphons were discovered thriving in the many forests and mountains around Corinia. By appearance a Gryphon looks like a lion, whose head it that or an eagle. They have a large pair of feathered wings and sprt massive paws with razor sharp talons. A Gryphons beak can cruch most materials known to man and to fight such a beast on foot is suicide. The Mountainous Gryphons tend to be more rugged and powerfully built whereas the Forested gryphons are much more agile and slender. For years the Gryphons and Drakes were natural enemies constantly hunting eachother should either one pass into the others territory. However with the recent domestication of the Drake and Gryphons they have been forced to work side by side to further the ambitions of the other races. However they swtill harbor a natural feeling of ill-will towards eachother. The Gryphons are usually mounted by the Keltians or Ferali, not many Corinians will ride the proud beasts. Pegasi: Mane: The Mane of a pegasus is usuallythe same color as the rest of it's body. Eyes: The colors are not so varied, usually a brown or blue.. Skin: A Pegasus is usually white in color, but being that they are essentially flying horses other colors have been reported as well. Length: Depends entirely on the individuals but most Pegasi are about the same length as a horse. Height: Same as above their height is usually that of an average horse. Wingspan: The wingspans of a Pegasi is twiceit's length from nose to rump. Description: The Pegasi are a mythical creature. So for whole herds of them to be discovered on a lone island in one of the large oceans was strange indeed. It is suspected they may be the result of the poisons in the air, or the tainted water and food. Yet the priests are adamnet that they are a gift from God. Whatever the case may be the creatures where extremely friendly and very noble. It didn't take long for them to be domesticated and tamed for use in the new lifestyle of Corinia. The majority of Pegasi are used as scouts or couriers doue to their swift nature. There are not many creatures that can keep up with a Pegasus trying his best not to be caught. However their uses in combat are severely limited, they have no real power themselves and they fall easy victim to the much more powerful Drakes and Gryphons. |
