Introduction

If I where the president of the United States of America I would still be a environmentalist. What I would do is clean up the coal powered plants because then the environment will benefit from the cleaning because there won’t be as much acid rain produced. Then the animals won’t be as in much of a threat  to extinction. It will also create so many more jobs than there are right now because they would have cleaning jobs. This would help the environment in many ways.

History

Some of the history on Acid Rain is that it comes from a mixture of citric acid and sulferic acid. The acid rain is a poisoness substance that gets trapped in the rain and comes down into lakes, forest, and even animals. It is killing all the animals that we need to live like chicken, cows, pig, and turkey. Also all the places where we swim are getting full of all the acids and are going to need to be cleaned so humans don't die as well. The reason this is such a big problem  is that it is distoring all our monuments and statues throughout the United States of America. If i where the president I would want to repaint all the statues and monuments so they wont get worse than they already are.

Cause

Some of the effects of the effects that acid rain makes are from the polution and very high intensity of global warming. The causes of acid rain come from many different sources. Mostly like the acid rain gases mix with water, oxygen, and other cimicals. Acid rain is a wet mixture that has higher than normal amounts of nitric and sulfuric acid. Also acid rain comes from volcanoes, decaying vegetation, and some man made sources.

Effect

Some of the effects of Acid Rain are that it will worsen human health because of us swimming in lakes and pools. Also a very satisfying reason is that acid rain will cause acidification of lakes, streams, and contribute damages to trees at high elevations. My final reason it that acid rain effects the decaying of building material and paints on buildings and statues by speeding up the decaying.
