| 25th August - a large group spent a great day on Heir Island. Walking down the lanes we were delighted by the quiet countryside, dotted with small, mostly holiday cottages, ancient hedgerows and beautiful beaches that reminded us of our childhood. Some of the beaches were busy with boatloads of people from Baltimore, but others were deserted and demanded old fashioned beachcombing and meditation.
