| Sunday 23rd November 16 walkers enjoyed a beautiful day doing just over half of the classic ridge circuit. We started out through the forest, up the old Pilgrim Path and sharply up to the source of the Lee and Bealick. Then along the ridge and back around - carefully keeping clear of the farmland on the West of the river, and back to the hotel. It's rare to walk Gougane in fine weather, but when you get a clear winter's day - it's unbeatable. | ||||||||||||||||
