| Walking Log May 2003 - Glenbeg | |||||||||||||||

| May 18th a small group walked the Glenbeg circuit on the western side of the Beara Peninsula. To get to Glenbeg there is a long drive down to Castletonbere, then across to Eyries and then North to Ardmore. A beautiful drive however. |

| The day started well, and there were great views, but by the time we got 1/3 of the way round the circuit we were in hail, thunder and lightening. Discretion was the better part of valour as they say, and we took the short cut down. Even so a very good walk. | |||||||||||||||
