The story at three...
Skiba is the brainchild of Kim , Briana and Shaz.....being in a small ghetto town leads to boredom which then leads to creativity which then leads to Skiba....what is skiba you ask ..well there was a war general ..Alfred Skiba and see he fell in love before he went to war and wrote letters of despair , lonliness and well love to his one and only...unfortunatly he didnt make it back to his dear girlfriend and as a token of our appreciation for guys like that we named our band skiba ....heh .. no really um theres this lizard in australia called a skiba and its capable of being able to stop its own heart to play dead so its predator wont eat it and i thought that is was kinda cool .. you know wouldnt things be a lot easier if we could just stop our hearts and play dead every now and then....ok ...so that was a lie too...im not actually sure why we chose skiba i think we just thought it sounded cool..there are you happy no philisophical meaning behind our sophmoric band name! ...but yes it all started out in Marietta (m-town) , Georgia ,while trying to pay attention in class, which is not easy especialy when ms.lewis is you physical science teacher..but yes back to the point....we began to practice more and more perfecting our ability to play together in unison without it sounding too horrible and here we are now...we dont take ourselves too seriously and we enjoy a good laugh..in fact we often skip practice just to go to kroger and run around asking where the marshmellow flavoured condoms are....then we go on to ride shopping carts into eachother acquiring gapeing head wounds...yes ...and that my friends is skiba....ah..... |
