Attractive and well designed
studio apartment to sleep 2/4 located in the recently renovated Le Chamois building.
Situated on the edge of the central
1850 snow apron, less than 100 yards
from either the "Forum"
(ice rink, shops etc) building or the main ski lifts in the Croisette.
Therefore, the ideal central
location means that the shops, bars, restaurants,
and clubs are all within easy reach. The rear piste is accessible
from a rear "fire door" exit on the same floor level as the apartment,
thereby allowing "ski-to-your-door" convenience.
Entrance to the Le Chamois
building is by key/key code pad but visitors can be admitted by telephone remote
door release located in the apartment.
Guests have their own private boot/ski/clothes locker located in the
main
hallway on the ground floor (street level). On the same level, and with separate
street access, is also a dedicated, lockable, ski rack.
Location within Le Chamois ....
The studio apartment
is situated on the 3rd floor and is easily accessible by a lift or wide,
well lit (halogen spot lights) stairs. It has 20 square metres of floor space,
plus its own balcony, and the situation offers superb easterly views across
the village and towards Roche de Mio and the Bellecote glacier at La Plagne.
Lounge...

Newly furnished with a padded 3 seater sofa (converts to 6'6" long, 4'6" wide, double bed) with a 3 foot wide (6'6" length) bunk bed above. The bunk is suitable for adults weighing up to 80 kilo. There is also a separate chair (made by futon) that opens into a full size and comfortable single bed.
The studio apartment is ideal for a couple on their own or with one or two children. It is also suitable for 2 or 3 friends but sleeping arrangements, and bag storage, for 4 adults could be more cramped .

The lounge has a solid pine dining table with 4 chairs, a small nest of 2 tables and also pine corner furniture. There is a television with a video recorder (plays UK and USA tapes). Two walls are paneled with light pine and the ceiling is also pine clad.. The room is well luminated with ceiling halogen lights (and table lights). There are five large "gothic style" mirrors. A large rug covers part of the laminated wood flooring in the lounge.

Twin electric hobs are positioned on a "butchers table" in the corner of the lounge(near the kitchen area) and there is a tiled splash back.

Heating....
All apartments and corridors in
the Le Chamois building benefit from 24 hour radiator heating, with their own
controls,allowing each apartment to keep warm, even if unoccupied.
Hot water is available for the whole building from a main boiler affording unlimited
supplies to each apartment.
Kitchen ....
The compact cooking
area is equipped with a sink and a new, full size fridge for your drink and
provisions. There is a kettle and "combi" microwave. Ample cooking
pots and pans are provided for your snacks or even to cook a modest evening
meal. Cutlery and crockery for 4 people plus sets of glasses for wine, champagne
or beer are also provided.

Other facilities...
The bathroom walls are fully tiled and there are shower mixer taps in the enamel bath. The washing area has an attractive granite work top to house the vanity sink. There are wheeled storage trays below the sink. A large mirror can be lit with 3 halogen lights to supplement the 2 halogens in the wood clad ceiling.
The w.c. is in a separate room and has corner storage shelves and a mirror.
The entrance, kitchen area, toilet and bathroom floors are all quarry tiled.
Adjacent to the cooking area are large storage cupboards, with full length hanging space and shelves, for your clothing.
The apartment has its own telephone to receive incoming calls and the cost of outgoing calls are with a phone card (purchased at local post office or stores)
