![]() We are Steven and Kimra and we have four children: Nickolas (18), Kristine (15), Alexander (4), and Gianna (1). We are a multi-racial/ethnic adoptive family living in Central California. Adoption is very familiar to our family. Kimra was adopted as a teen by her step-father. Nickolas was adopted by Steven in a step-parent adoption at the age of two. Gianna was adopted at birth in an open domestic trans-racial adoption, she is African American. We send letters and pictures of her to her birth family. We realize that every adoption relationship is different and that different people will want to have different arrangements. We hope to adopt an infant of any race/ethnicity and either gender. We are aware and prepared for the challenges that sometimes come with being a multi-racial/ethnic family. We live them every day. We know how important African American hair and skin care is, for health reasons and for cultural reasons. We think our family is very special and we look forward to welcoming another child into the family!
![]() Steven is an executive for a national Architectural Firm and Kimra is a long time stay at home mom. We are very family oriented and most of our activities are child centered. We are committed to raising our children to be who they are meant to be. We feel that its important for children to be able to be children and enjoy their childhood. We think that all too often people are rushing their children through their childhood. We also believe that part of our job as parents is to help our children to find the things that they enjoy doing in life and give them the opportunity to explore the world around them. We tend to be pretty laid back and go with the flow. We arent the typical over scheduled, overstressed American family, thats for sure! While we definitely are passionate about our interests and our beliefs, we think its important to keep things in perspective and keep our priorities straight. It's important to have a good balance in all areas of life. While we have a very nice home, we arent the type to take pride in our house being a show place. Its more important to us that our house is a home. Homes are to be comfortable, lived in, and enjoyed - not just looked at and admired.

![]() We live in a wonderful diverse community, and we have a very strong network of support. We feel that its important for children to grow up with the truth and be given all the opportunities possible in life. We are involved in our church. Its a wonderful community church with lots of fun activities. The college group sortof spills out over to our house and several nights each week they can be found here watching movies, swimming, and playing games. As wonderful as all that is, for us, the priority is always our own personal relationships with God. We are all rather creative. Steven is an Architect and also enjoys woodwork and photography. Nickolas is an artist and plays guitar. Kristine is a designer and plays bass guitar. Kimra sings, writes, draws, paints, and loves photography. The younger children love music and art also. We each often have several fun projects going on at any given time.
