Subject: HISTORY MAKING IN CCK

Dear Kohatian,

On 23rd of April, Peshawar chapter arranged a get together at Peshawar

Services Club whose secretary is a Kohatian from the first entry. Mr.

Tariq Fakir. The president of Peshawar chapter Mr. Iqbal Younas of first

entry very lovingly invited every one to attend it. As some of us were

going to Kohat on an invitation from the Principal to attend the welcome

ceremony of the new entry(36th) in which Brig. S. Sabahat Hussain of

the first entry was to be the Chief Guest, we decided to avail the

opportunity and reached Peshawar to attend their get together also. I

was accompanied by Mr. Masroor Kaifi, Hamid Zahoor (2nd entry), Qaisar

Zaman (4th entry) He was kind enough to give us ride in his car and bore all the expenses, and Sheikh Niaz (3rd entry), who joined us from Kamra.

The get together was attended by the Kohatians and their families.

There was a Tambola and dinner. It was arranged by the dedicated Kohatians

like Iqbal Younas, Dr. Hakim Shah, Col. Rashid and Rashid Awan with

love and affection. It was so nice to see many friends and we had a

brilliant time. The only negative point was that despite of the biggest chapter,

the attendance was not up to the expectations. Dr. Hakim Shah very

kindly played the role of our host. We are grateful to all of them.

Next day, the ceremony at CCK was indeed a history making. The first

General of CCK was the Chief Guest. The ceremony consisted of a guard

Of honor by the students, followed by speeches and presentation of

souvenirs to the chief guest in the college hall. Every thing was done

with dignity and style. It was a well conceived and executed ceremony.

All the Kohatians in Services came in their uniforms.

Mr. Masroor Kaifi received the Chief Guest in Munawar House as he was his house master in

those days. The ceremony was followed by a sumptuous lunch.

Mr. Khurshid Anwar Beg also graced the occasion with his presence. All in all, it

Was a very moving and graceful day for all the Kohatians. We all pray for

Sabahat to achieve many more laurels in his career and wish other

Kohatians to reach the pinnacle in whatever careers they are.
