A month had passed by quick and now Alex is waiting on Megan to get ready for their date."Hurry up! I've been ready for 10 minutes!""Well I'm sorry but unlike you I'm not ready in 2 minutes!"she called.She then decended the staircase and what Alex saw took his breath away.She was wearing a long white dress with thin straps and her hair curled around her face."Will you quite staring at me like that?"Alex was lost for words then he said"God you look beautiful.""Thank you.Are you ready to go?""Yeah."Alex offered his arm to her and she took it smileing.

On the way to the restaurant they didn't talk much.They drove to a very romantic restaurant and Alex came over and helped Megan out of the car.She thought he was being unusually polite.After their meal they went back to the manor and went for a rock to the little stream bahind Alex's house.

When they get there thay spread out a blanket and Megan starts to sit down but Alex stops her and he gets down on one knee."Megan I know all of this has happened really quick but I love you more than I have anybody else..."He then pulles out a velvet box and says "Megan Richardson will you marry me?"Tears well up in her eyes and she lets them go saying "Yes Alexander O'Connell i will !"Alex then gets up and pulls her into his arms and starts to kiss her passionately Megan kisses him back with equal passion.They fall asleep looking at the stars.

About 2 hours later they figure out they were sleeping when they fall into the stream.Alex wakes up and goes under and pulles Megan under with him for a few seconds then lets her up."Alex O'Connell,Why in the bloody hell did you do that!?!""I'm sorry but i couldn't help it."Alex says smiling.Megan trys to be mad at him but can't pull it off."Well it was kind of funny if you think about it.""I agree!""Uh lets go change and tell mum and dad the news."They head towards the house hand in hand.

When they get into the house Evy gets them a towel and helps them dry off.Rick then walks in and laughs saying"I don't even want to know."At that time Anna walks in and asks "What did you two do pee or yourselves?""No we didn't."they both say at the same time."Mum,dad Megan and I are getting married in a month!"Rick smiles and huggs then both.Evy starts to cry and huggs and kisses them"Megan"Rick starts "you gotta keep Alex in line!""Don't worry."she says smileing.At that point Anna comes in and says "You mean they are going to be mushy all the time?I'm glad they'll be able to get a room now!" 

A few nights later Alex and Megan decided to ride horses out to the tree house and when they get into the tree house Alex pulls Megan close to him and gives her the most passionate kiss they have ever shared before.Alex nibbled on her bottom lip and slid his tounge into her mouth she met his tounge with hers and the kiss lasted for a while before Alex pulled back out of breath and smiled at her.He then pulled her back to him and started dancing with her.After about three minutes it stared raining."I guess we better go in before we get sick"Megan says pulling back a little bit.He pulled her back to him and says "I don't care."All of the sudden it starts lightning and before they can do anything lightning hits the tree house and they both fall out.

About three hours later a very worried Evelyn is paceing throughout the manor while Rick is trying to reassure her."Rick I know something is wrong they would be back by now they wouldn't stay out in all of the lightling.""Ok I'll go check and don't worry I'll be careful."he reassured.

Rick started at the stables and found Seti there worry soon set in.He ran faster than he ever had before out to the tree house (with the exception of Ahm Shere)and found Alex on the ground with Megan on top of him.Rick had to fight as hard as he could not to cry but tears rolled down his face anyway.Evelyn runs up to him and says "What happened?"then starts to cry herself."Evy"he yelled"I told you to stay at the house!!Then says you get Megan and I'll get Alex.""But..."she starts to protest but stops when he puts his fingers up to her lips."We have to get them to the hospital.We can't leave them here."She nods and picks up Megan.

1:00 the next morning

"Mr.and Mrs.O'Connell,Your son has a broke leg and a broke wrist.Megan was lucky Alex broke her fall she only has a broke wrist and some bumps and bruises.He took his leave and Rick pulls Evy into his arms while she cries.The doctor then comes back out and says "Megan wants to see you."
Evy and Rick walk hand in hand down the long white hall and into a big room and finds Megan there.When they walk in she turns her head and starts to cry."I'm so sorry.Its all my fault.We were dancing and lightning hit the tree house and Alex broke my fall.I should be the one with the broke leg and all.I'm so sorry.""Megan its not your fault."Evy said reassuringly."After you left Alex was never the same now he's back to his old self he's lucky to have someone like you.""You wanna see if you can go see alex now?"Rick questioned.At her nod he left and in a few minutes he came back in and said she could.

Megan broke down into fresh sobs when she saw Alex.She quietly sat beside him and sais"Alex,please don't leave me I love you so much."Alex slowly woke up and said I would never leave you.I love you too.They put off the wedding for 2 months and Megan wrote a letter to her father telling him that.

1 month later June 7th Alex's birthday

Today was Alex's birthday and Megan had a surprise for him it was about 8:00 in the morning and Megan woke Alex up with breakfast in bed."Wow did you cook?"he asked."Yeah I remembered that your mom wasn't the best cook in the world so I decided to cook.I hope its good."She got up and left and when she came back she had a basket in her arms and sat on the bed beside Alex."Happy Birthday!"she shouted.He peaked inside and saw a Labradore Retriever puppy inside.He picked her up and said "Hey!"The puppy wagged her tail and licked him then decided to finishe his breakfast for him."Hey thats mine!"Alex said laughing but the puppy didn't listen.I think I'll name you Murphie."Alex said smiling up at Megan.Megan then came over and sat next to him."Thank you I love her.""Oh your welcome I saw her and just couldn't resist that cute little face."she said.He smiled and kissed her lightly on the lips.

The next month passed by quickely and now there was a week left until the wedding.There was a lot to be done that day.First of all Alex and Megan got to get their casts off.Second Megan had to try on Evy's wedding dress.Last but not least they had to pick up Megan's father at the airport whick is where they are headed now.

They quickely spot him and he comes over and gives Megan,Evy,Rick,Anna,and Jonathan all a hug and says "Hi.Are you two alright now?""Yes father"Megan says."Well I must say I didn't recognise Alex until I saw Megan."Paul says smiling.

The rest of the week moves by at a snails pace for Megan and Rick but soon it is the day before the wedding and Megan and Alex are more than ready to begin their lives together.
