"They made it!" Evy exclaimed.

Before she knew it, Meela had stabbed her in the stomach. "No!!" She heard her husband yell, as she dropped down to her knees.

Soon, he was by her side.

How the world can be so cold

Stealing the souls of man*

 

"Evy! Evy!!.....Jonathan!" Rick screamed as he caught her before she fell to the ground.

"She's going to be all right, isn't she, Dad?"

"Yes, mommy's gonna be all right. Jonathan, take him..."

Rick looked down at her wound. "Oh, God."
