The day of the wedding finally arrived and Megan was busy getting ready with Evy's help.Megan was shaking all over."Evelyn,What if I trip and fall walking down the isle?What if we are rushing things?What if Alex decides he don't love me anymore?What if tonight I screw things up?""Megan listen to me,I am way more clutsy than you are and I didn't trip.And believe me you are not rushing things.Rick and I were together for a month before we got married.And Alex loves you more than anything and he always will.And well about tonight I figured I would mess things up on my wedding night to but I didn't,so I don't think you will either.I was scared but I told Rick how I felt and it turns out he was nervous too so don't worry.""I'll try not to."Megan replied still shaking.

In another room Alex and Rick were getting ready."Dad?""Yes Alex.""What if we are rushing things?What if she changes her mind?I dunno what I would do if she did.What if I hurt her.What if tonight I want something and she doesn't?What if she decides I'm not worth a second of her time?""Look Alex your mom and I were together for a month before we got married and were still together.I was scared your mom would change her mind and leave me too but she didn't and Megan loves you she will never change her mind and I know you love her too so if you don't forget everything will be fine.About tonight I'm sure you will be fine.I mean you are MY son.About hurting her she's probably a virgin so it will hurt a little.""Thanks dad."

Back in the room where Megan and Evy were getting ready Evy had the last of the buttons on Megan's dress buttoned.Evy smiled and said "Turn around and look in the mirror."Megan did and smiled.She had on her mother's dress it was sleeveless with the top part silk covered in lace with flowers embrordered and the bottom was two layered the bottom silk and the top lace in the back hung a long train."Now time for the veil."Evy said smiling.She then put the veil on her and it was gorgeous it hung down her back as long as her dress it was lace and a little crown of white flowers held it to her head in the front it came down over her face."You look really pretty."Evy comented."Thank you."she said then picked up her bouquet.At that moment Anna came in and said "They're ready."Then gasped "Wow you look really pretty.""So do you."Anna had on a dress just like Megans except her's was baby blue and hung down to her ankles plus she didn't have a veil on.

Evelyn,Megan,and Anna all walked to the front of the church.Megan's father was waiting for her because he was going to give her away."Wow.You look just like your mom your really beautiful!""Thank you."Megan said on the verge of tears but smiling anyway.Right then the Wedding March started playing.Anna was the flower girl.

Megan started walking down the isle to her future husband.Amazingly she didn'tfall on her face.Alex couldn't believe that she wanted to marry him.Neither Alex nor Megan could remember all that was said during the ceremony but they did remember hwen the minister said he could kiss the bride.Much to Rick's amusement Alex didn't have to think twice to do that.

The cermony was over and Rick,Evy,and Paul had a surprise for the newly weds.They had put their money in and bought them a manor.Rick and Evy had another surprise for Alex.They cameup to him with somebody right on their heels he stepped out from behind them and smiled it was Ardeth."ARDETH"Alex shouted and hugged him."Congratulations Alex.And this is Megan?Wow Alex you have good taste.""I think so."Alex said.Megan had turned a bright shade of scarlet."So where are you going for your honeymoon,Alex?""The Virgin Islands."he said proudly."Well I don't want to imagine what you two are going to do!"Alex laughed showing how nervous he was.

They all had lunch at a restaurant then left for the airport.Evy hugged and kissed her son and Megan goodbye.She had to turn her head because ahe was tearing up."Well bye mom see ya later."He turned to Rick "Bye dad!"in his ear he whispered "Wish me luck."He then turned to Paul and hugged him too "Don't worry I'll take good care of Megan.""I know you will."Paul replied smiling.Alex hugged Ardeth,Anna,Jonathan and told them bye.After that Megan hugged everybody and told them bye then borded the plane.

"Rick what did Alex whisper in your ear?"Evy asked."He told me to wish him luck."he said smiling."Well he apparently gets more than looks and affectionateness from you."she smiled back."You think so?"And with that they got in the car and set off to the O'Connell/Richardson Manor to decorate for the newly weds.
