Waiting A Lifetime

It was a warm,sunny,summer day in England as Alex O'Connell walked through the park.Alex wasn't watching where he was going when he ran right into a young girl about his age."Why in the bloody hell don't you watch where you are going."the girl said."Well if you got outa my way I wouldn't have knocked you over either."he replied.Then the two went on their separate ways.

Later that day Alex was riding his horse by the private stram behind his house and the girl that he ran into was there."What the hell do you think you are doing here?This is private property!!"Alex asked."Well I could say the same for you." she replied."Well I happen to live over there in that manor thank you very much!!"Alex snapped."No you don't my very best friend Alex O"Conell lives there so quite lying!!"she snapped back."What do you mean I'm your best friend?""Alex?"she questioned."Yeah that would be me."Then was cut off because she tackled him."What the bloody hell did you do that for?!?he asked."I can still beat the shit outa you!!"she said then smilled.He thought for a moment then questioned"Megan?"

"Well you think slow enough dont you?"she asks teasingly.Alex tries to get up but she pushes him back down then says "Not so soon Alexander!" "What?"he asks "You know I'd rather you call me Alex.""I know"she says"Thats why I'm calling you that!""Well"he says "I realize that your father hasn't succeeded in raising you to be a proper British girl.Not that I thought he would."She smilled and said "You know he can't change me.""I know he can't."Alex said smilling.All the sudden when Megan isn't paying attention Alex pushes her down on her back and pins her down then says "You can't beat me up.I can beat up everybody in my college.""I bet you can."she says "Your muscles are huge."she says smiling.

They get up and go sit by the steam and talk."Why don't we ride back to the house and you can see Anna and my parents?" he asks."Yeah let's do that."Megan says.

When they get up to the stables Kirianna his sister (about 10 yrs old)is there putting up her horse.Anna looks up an says "Are you another one of Alex's girlfriends?I swear Alex is getting as bad as Uncle Jon.""No I don't I was with Rachel for two weeks."he says defensively."Same difference."she says.Then they all walk up to the manor to see Ale's parents.
